Are you serious?

I mean I'm getting much worse than that, so I can see your point.

But ffs, it's SWTOR. It's supposed to work on average systems. Log into the game and look at the graphics. They're nothing special, especially on low settings across the board.

Why should I have to have a $2000 computer to play this piece of garbage? The system requirements were CLEARLY stated on their site. If my system is better than the requirements, the game should play at more than a mere 20 fps in pvp. This whole thing is ridiculous. And yes, I realize putting a game like this out isn't exactly easy. But this thing was obviously NOT ready for release. With all the money they poured into this and all the hype it had, this is pathetic.

Seems everyone with GTX 560 are screwed.....
The game runs horribly EVEN without the V-Sync, not to mention with the VSync on...
And this is NOT an option, I DEMAND for better performance with VSync and also you MUST include Reduce Input Lag option and Hardware Mouse

People with all GPUs are screwed.
GTX 590 on my gaming rig and 260 on my old pc i still keep to test games [i write some articles in my country on couple of big local gaming portals so i keeped my old machine to write the most accurate game tests as well as on high end gaming rig and on my old 3 years old pc wich is still quite good and can operate most games maxed out with no issues]

Dont worry - they have to fix it, its their money and prestige on the line, if they dont the game will die, the game will die and all those milions will flew away.

They plan to release a big patch in january, until this one [wich will bring new warzones and flash/op] they will probably try hard to fix all the most importatnt big issues.

God I want to smack a bit ch every time I see troll posts like yours. Ya we should all go out and drop a grand to run the Old Republic at 40+ Fps.
I got a duo core 3.0 by Intel a 9800GT video card and 2 gigs of ram. I turn off high shadows and med textures and MOST of my issues went away. It seems for whatever reason the game is HINDERED by powerful gaming rigs.

That is pretty bloody lame if you ask me.

If, in my ignorance I can suggest something? The game seems to try to use all my space properly. it EATS up all my ram where I have to wait a couple minutes to log out. However when in, my game runs actually pretty good. I am thinking it's using ram in a such a manner that it's flubbing something up trying to do that on the systems with HUGE amounts of ram (6 plus gigs)

It seems, im my ignorance there is a relation of people with awesome rigs with TONS of memory having the MOST issues. Could it be NOT the cards but the memory? The game really doesn't even know how to use it right?

I'm thinking since they have us early customers playing free until January 10, they have till then to fix the issue. We're essentially stuck in their store browsing merchandise till then, but after that we can leave.

Hopefully it gets resolved at least a few days before then so we can experience the fix and keep playing. Otherwise, we will not pay for graphics failed game.

Bingo. They have the chance to keep me a paying customer but I will walk away if this is not fixed in the next month. This is how MMO's live and die in this day and age. Doesn't matter how great the game is, if the masses can't run it the game is dead even before it started. WoW will be the perfect example for years to come. Vanguard failed, EQ 2 failed, WAR failed, AoC failed, Aion failed, Champions Online failed. All games that had great graphics and potential but the masses couldn't run them properly and everyone un subscribed. Bioware don't add your name on to this list for the love of God. I really hope you can clean this up and be the true WoW killer that you potentially are.
