Agreed. I think this would be a lot of fun - providing more opportunities for unscripted events, opportunities for guild members to pull together and help each other out or just have some fun.

Open PVP would sure be a blast, but its not necessary here.

Also, a little sad to see legacy storage get pushed back - I had already started reassigning crew skills in anticipation of being able to craft straight from legacy storage. Which I still hope is the case. It looks like the wait should be worth it, though.
I've just decided to stick my SW into a corner and forget about him for now and focus on the three Strongholds we get now. Hopefully, down the road, we can get a House on Korriban.

This makes me very unhappy.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.

IIRC, the roadmap was a GSF-type GSH in "june/aug" and a Makeb-type, including level increase, at the end of the year. So that is a question for the roadmap, does this delay/shift mean a delay in M#2?

I thought from the beginning LS was scheduled in August not June.

I imagine they're going to set the 'basic' cost at something ridiculously low, and the really cool 'upgrades' for the ship will cost more and more and more as you go higher in the upgrades.

See, they have to tailor the 'basic' around small-group guilds, not massive 300+ member guilds. Every Guild will want a ship, even tiny Guilds, so they have to plan around that.

It's like everything else in TOR: Everyone has a chance to get the 'basics', but if you want the upgraded versions, you're going to pay for it.
Agree, and it sounds like some additions may be driven by the Conquest events. Personally, I don't think getting a Guild Capitol ship will be a huge problem if your guild is diligent. Getting some cool stuff to add to your ship might be however.

There's a good chance I didn't understand the original schedule.

I was disappointed as I started to read the letter, but looking at the features, I am more excited and happy to wait! I especially love that Tatooine will be an option, and that we can place Companions and pets in our homes.

To our dear community reps, I have one question: can we have more than one Stronghold per planet? Or are we limited to four in total (one each on Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant, DK, and Tatooine)?

I doubt I'd buy multiples per planet anyway, but I am still curious. Would like to know if I should start considering which of my characters are most likely to be able to share a living space peacefully, and which poor sod gets to room with the irritable Sith.

I am looking forward to this and I must say the game is improving each on each update, the dev's are expanding the SWTOR universe nicely. I would rather them get things right and push things back than have to rush it and receive a flurry of negative feedback from the "unhappy crowd" out there.

Looks like a good year ahead.
