first video for kicks, want to get one where the opposing team isn't all sorcs... there was a jugg on the other team though, his ED didn't do much.

True for medium and heavy armour. But ask people on light armour (only sorcs, afaik) how they feel about that. It's like being naked.

Maybe you're right. It just doesn't look insurmountable. Maybe people just have to learn to counter it?

Well I'm uploading a voidstar where I lost but wasn't a total stomp, more instances of focused defense were used.

Yes, ED is over the top. Saw a juggernaut get over 100k heals in a "standard" time novare coast. During the glory days of shadow tank self heals, I had to try really hard just to break 75k heals.

Except there is no DR associated with the heal. The heal is qqed upon because the idea of a dps healing that much in such a short period of time is memorable, just as ravage rooting the target is memorable. Vengeance is the type of spec that has a large aura simply due to the fact that it is designed to be relentless and not lose sight of a target.

What most think is a ridiculous 40k heal is actually a 10k fakehealth with endure pain, to provide a temporary buffer health, then pile on the hot, and within the next 30 seconds get around 27k in healing, then use intercede to get a 2k heal, with the occasional Warzone medpack thrown in.

Most of the burst associated with Vengeance, specifically the craziest 11k executes, come from idiotic sorcs and bad tanks chainslowing the crap out of vengeance, building up the stacks they need to unload said crazy burst abilities.

Normally, the best way to hardcounter and turn the tables on a Vengeance, is to stun them properly. It requires good timing, and in general is easier to do on a jugg (the jugg unstoppable comes with a big shield while Vigilance comes with a little swirly thing, I think the Vigilance one needs to be more obvious.). If it's his first opener, he will open with a ravage/master strike, after the second tick, at the 2.5 mark, you knockback or stun him. In general, depending on how you knock him back, you could put him/her at a SEVERE disadvantage if he is dumb, if he is smart he will find a place to guardian leap away.

Another way to put down a jugg is to kite him. Because of the way Vengeance almost demands you continuously follow a target, they will almost definitely follow. The golden ratio is the 8 meter ratio, but not the 4 or 10 meter, that way very little of his offensive suite will be brought to bear. In addition, separate a jugg from his allies and he won't have an escape route nor be able to bring up his intercede heal to bear.

As far as bringing down focused defense goes, it depends. Normally, I just laugh and burn through it. If I brought him low enough for him to pop the CD, I can do it again. If I'm on a combat sent or sniper, I pop a healing debuff, then pop a dot, then burst him down. The healing reduction turns the CD into nothing more than a mediocre annoyance, and heal debuffs frankly are all too underused in warzones.

Also, sorcs, PLEASE stop running away when I leap at you, you will just end up with a ravage in the face.
