Tbh I don't see an issue with this ability. I mainly play ranged dps and vengeance is pretty much a direct counter to ranged dps. It hits incredibly hard after white dmg buff and is tanky inside of active CD'S all of which are long cool down.
I typically save my biggest burst until the pop ED, then absolutely unload everything. Typically, they either die through it still or are left in execute range again. Its not god mode, and as long as you save big chunky hits for it (heals for 3k each hit. So use abilities that hit more preferably)... Its not a big deal. I'm happy that vengeance got this DCD as I've played one for a long time, and while its been pretty good since 2.5, there were occasional times in ranked group arena where I couldn't cycle my dcd's enough because of too much space between them with too many being weak

Finally, someone who sees reason.

Even with this buff, a good sniper can still melt right through ED. Most of Vig's survivability is centered on cycling cooldowns.

FD only provides healing, as the above stated. The counter for healing, is a healing debuff, and outdamage the heal. With Focus fire, that honestly should not be a problem.

We are divided.

On one hand you have those who either:
  • Feel like this makes us competitive
  • Feel like this was well deserved after a period of allegedly being non-competitive, having nothing to do with our own skill level

On the other hand, there are those of us who think:
  • It's too much
  • It's fun for Guardians.. not so much fun for everyone else (and the last thing we need is Guardians being the new Op healer, or people "unsubbing" or just not playing because it's such a frustrating thing)

Further, the latter is also divided on how to fix the problem before we get nerfed into the ground and pray for the return of Guardian circa 2.4.

Either way, I agree that it will be nerfed. I just hope that everything else isn't nerfed along with it (which is what will probably happen. This is Bioware after all)

Yes. You're the guy that never felt underpowered on your 1.0vigilance/veng like I said before delusional at best..
I don't see any real division amongst guardians/jugs on this subject, just few specials that have picked this as their new
Quibble with the game offering retarded solutions to a non existent problem The reworking of ED/FD is welcomed and I'm positive it won't get changed or nerfed..
You can always remove it from your hot bar if you think its giving you so much advantage.

I still get melted easily once I've popped everything it just allows more uptime that you never got before and vs some comps you still don't get enough. Double sorc double sniper is the hardest comp we have faced since 2.7
And yet, without being focused by three dps, one of those sorcs couldn't do anything against your ED dcd.

Beside its duration, one of my major concerns is that DoTs don't bypass it. A sorc can fill up your entire health in a span of only a few seconds. And the issue is, you can't stop the dots' dps on the jugg, they just keep ticking. In a few seconds you might a get a tick of Affliction, a couple of ticks of Creeping Terror, 4-5 of Crushing Darkness, a Deathfield and perhaps the first couple of ticks of Force Lightning, if those first couple of dots were cast earlier.

This would use up all 10 charges in only a few seconds, and heal to full, since the damage is too low not to be out-healed by ED.

And this is my issue -- one, single defensive cooldown vastly outperforms the total output of a dot based dps class.
