Easy solution.

You tell them, "OK, you pull in 4 groups of mobs, and I'll do my thing."

Noob pulls 4 groups of mobs on him....

*crickets*

Noob dies.

"MAN! Why didn't you kill them?"

"I never said I was going to kill anything, I was just doing my thing. LAUGHING MY *** OFF!"

Nah, that'd be too mean for me to do.

Wow, some people are really petty.

I hate the people that spam multiple invites without even asking first. Just got that last night on my Trooper, actually. Four times in a row. Hit decline 'cause I ain't dealing with that.

As for me, I rarely ask for help and when I do, it's for heroics, for which you kinda need other people for, unless you happen to be high-level enough to solo them.

Enable auto-decline.

Thank me later.

It depends for me. If I'm in an area with others and we're all obviously doing the same objectives and they throw an invite its 50-50 on whether I'll accept. Sometimes I just want to be left alone, or I may plan on logging off soon, etc. I don't mind that.

My guildmates all have the common courtesy to send a message first, even if they're on a different planet. When its someone I don't know and they keep spamming me with invites and they aren't even in the area, yeah, I decline it right away. Sometimes I might ask them if they need help with something. But more times than not I never get an answer just more invites out of nowhere. So I put them on ignore. (I've found that asking someone to stiop doesn't work....I guess they think that they'll wear me down into accepting if they just keep silent and spam invites more)

If its to do a heroic, yeah, you have to ask me if I want to actually do that first. Like the power level me NOW morons think I am not here to fulfill your immediate needs. Don't assume I'm willing to drop whatever I'm doing because you want to do a heroic of flashpoint. If you don't have the courtesy to at least talk to me first you shouldn't bother with the invite.

No one should have to set preferences to auto decline because some bozo lacks courtesy and/or social skills.

So who's being a dick if the person keeps spamming invites? Sure ain't the person gettin' 'em.

Me personally, I only send out blind invites if I have started a boss fight and notice a couple people standing around, waiting.

Don't let the past define you

This is acceptable, most every other kind of blind invite, not so much.

Nostalgia moment, EverQuest 1 had a silly little feature, when you inspected someone there was a system message that was sent to chat. "Randomnoob is looking at your equipment." Which trolls then abused, following you around spamming inspects. (You couldn't ignore system messages)
