That's funny I used a AMD Phenom II X6 1100T with no issues what so ever until my power strip wiped out my pc. The only reason I went with Intel is because I never had one and to be honest I am not that impressed with intels cost vs performance

While intel usually has the very top of the market cornered, AMD CPUs are fine on mid to mid high end computers. There is no significant difference in the mid range market between AMD and Intel CPUs.

I consider myself a "serious" gamer (lol, not sure what a SERIOUS gamer is anyway) and my AMD works just fine for everything from BF4 to SWTOR.

More to a CPU than raw clock speed and core count. AMD CPUs generally have a higher clock speed and even more cores lately but they are still out performed by Intel CPUs.

No. It's a 200 dollar computer from wal-mart with a Nvidia 250 GT Graphics card that's 2 years old. (graphics card is 4 years old).

Add in a good power supply and it runs SWTOR on Ultra with no issues.

Shortblast... Dude, you knew you'd get flamed by everyone when you posted this, right? Sure, there's some zones that need better optimization, but the devs are way too busy re-coloring old speeders for the Cartel Market to be bothered with that. I mean, c'mon geez, get with the program.

FPS has never been that bad of a problem in SWTOR. Looking like a game released in 2004 is. LOL!
