Or, someone like yourself that is ignorant of the issue and would rather put up a disparaging and hysterical post with a hysterical tittle then actually realize the true problem and ask for help.

I'm running like a 7 year old machine with an E6850, dual Core at 3 Ghz, 3 gig working ram and a 9800 GTX. Game was running awful until I balanced my graphics and went from 25 MBPS to 100MBPS on my internet connection. On this older machine the game is running very, very smooth now and FPS are fine.

Game engine is not the best, but people need to think.....or maybe not. Maybe I should just have just blathered away in my own thread about how the game sucks and my puter would have fixed itself also? Saved some time? ;p
May the Schwartz be with you....

IMO the processor isn't the greatest but your video card is worse. A $100 gtx 550 ti would out perform it.
Turning off/down some of the useless textures would improve things also.

Just for kicks, here are some of the big-sellers of 2003:

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

Need for Speed Underground (1)

GTA: Vice City

Enter the Matrix

Yeah... looks juuuuuuuuuuuuuust like SW:TOR

Yeah your CPU is a load of rubbish, get a newer Intel CPU as this game really depends on single thread performance (which AMD is terrible at right now).

Genuine answer, when you are talking about 16 man ops the big problem is not in rendering the screen, but in the cpu processing what is happening. when you are playing in an empty area, then performance issues are likely gpu based.
He doesn't have a great graphics card either. I looked it up since it's not Nvidia so I'm not familiar and it's a cheap one under $200. Not BAD, by any means. And certainly not causing his problems.

All those talking about your CPU being the bottleneck are spot on. Up until last year I used a CPU from the same era (actually a year older) and 16 man ops were not easy. They were barely playable only with graphic setting turned to minimum and name plates turned off. You would be surprised at the difference nameplates makes. This was with my CPU OC to 4.2 Ghz.

Looking at the specs for that CPU of yours you might me able to save some cash at the switch over since it could use DDR2 or DDR3. If you are able to reuse your RAM you could save $150 on the initial upgrade. I recently upgraded another computer of mine for about $300 with a mid range Intel i5 and a nice MSI motherboard with on board 802.11ac. If you are a fan of AMD, the FX-8350 is a great cpu price/performance as it benchmarks equal to the i5's for about $30 less.

This may be of great help to you as well:

You are completely high man. This games graphics are leaps and bounds beyond anything from 2003.
