What is the conversion rate at anyway?
If you are a subscriber, you get at least 500 CC each month (or as much as 750).
How many ship req can you conver to fleet req with that?
I'm guessing it's quite alot.

Now, if you feel that you HAVE to convert those reqs, I'd suggest doing it with the free cc you get so it won't cost you a dime.

I don't know how to explain it to you professional defenders so you understand it. Why did they need to charge subs for it? Anyone with a maxed out ship has no reason to fly that ship progression wise, unless of course you want to pay extra to do so, this game was barely worth the sub itself and you think it is smart to keep sticking the subs with more cash grabs?

If anything kills this game it will be you people who encourage biowares horrible decisions. The cheerleaders already killed GSF. Maybe if they would have spoken up instead of shouting down people pointing out the flaws bioware would have more than a microscopic fraction of the player base using it.

Good... goooood... let the hate flow through you.

Seriously, If they let subs just convert it without any cost, people would just speed through all the ship classes in GSF maxing them within a week or two and where would the fun be in that if, as you say, there is no reason to fly a maxed out ship?
I actually wish they didn't have a conversion at all, but if it has to be there I'm happy that it costs CC so that people have to think twice before using it.
Oh and you can still use it for free as a sub since you get those free CC each month. It's up to you what you spend them on.
But hey, you go ahead and keep your crusade up... I'm sure if bioware just removed all cash shop items, the game would become a glorious success...
Oh wait, they did that at launch and it didn't work very well

EDIT: Since you didn't answer my question, I looked it up myself. Dulfys guide states that the conversion cost is 1CC for every 25 fleet req. That's 12,500-18,750 fleet req you can convert for free each month. Do you really need more than that?
Also, it's worth noting that subs get more req than F2P players already so there's your sub's value.

Sorry im just venting, im not on a crusade, I was on a crusade when gsf released hoping they would change the many things wrong with it and driving away players but its too late for gsf now.

And I don't care what the conversion costs and I don't care that subs get free cartel coins, its still a scheme to get more money from people who already pay for the game. Things like this are absolutely killing this game you love and your defense of the problem help prevent these changes that would help the game.

It's not a scheme to get more money from people. It's there as a barrier to slow down progression to keep it from being blazed through in a week.
And I haven't noticed anyone getting driven away by GSF, if anything, more people came back for it.
I'm assuming you are talking about lack of joystick supoort here, since that seemed to be the main point at the time of the release.

A barrier to slow progression doesn't cost real life money. Its a money grab on the only people in the game who have money, subs. At least now it seems bioware knows that f2p people aren't going to pay for this game.

And yes I am talking about joystick support along with many other things that were just as detrimental to the game if not more like throwing total noobs into combat with vets who shoot them down before they get to fire their blasters.

They built a flight game for people who don't play flight games, who would have thought people who don't like flight games still wouldn't like it and flight game people wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole? oh im sorry I didn't know gsf was having some kind of resurgence and isn't dying anymore, wonder why most of the ques are 8v8 these days?

There is no requirement to use the conversion. The money cost is there to minimise it's use (and make money of course, like all game developers like to do).

Yeah, who would have thought a "flight game for people who don't play flight games" would work?
I mean, it's not like Warthunder and World of Warplanes are popular in any way.
And sure, they have joystick support, but most people that play it don't use a joystick.
Resurgence? No.
It was hugely popular at it's launch and now it has settled. Much like any new feature in a game.

I agree, just like the previous space "feature"

No, that was pretty dead from the get-go.
It never had a popular period...

This is true. People came back for it to try it out, only to leave days later after seeing how bad it is.
