I CONCUR. But in the real world if you are lucky enough to come across a Vincent Van Gogh rare painting at a garage sale. Only because the seller had no clue what in the hell they had. Learns eventually after selling said painting because they read, that the new owner sold it for 15 million bucks and it was worth 10mill after buying it from previous owner for 20 dollars, but sold it to a collector for the 15mill.
The Point is it was only worth 10 million but there was Some body Rich enough they would pay any thing for it and did and probably would even pay more, because they could, with out blinking an eye. Is it right? It is for the extreme rich person. But it feels wrong for though's that cant pay that kind of cash....

So lesson is? in the real or virtual world an opportunist can set any price they like. Its Just Capitalism at it's best.

The price will be as high as people are buying. The market is regulating itself based on supply and demand, so there is no problem.

How is suggesting a limit to prices selfish but asking 25 million is not?
It's among the most selfish things I've ever read. It's so lazy, entitled and communist that it makes me sick.

In general the czerka crate seems to sell somewhere around 20-30 million. I think you'd be hard pressed to get a buyer on the first attempt. I also sell all of the battlemaster items, which is 70 pieces if you weren't aware, and despite making a good amount on it and selling at least 10 per listing period I would be eating a lot of cost in your scenario.

How does it hurt you if someone lists something for an outrageous price and it doesn't sell? Because you want it? If it doesn't sell then he gets nothing for it. That's the punishment of not listing at a "resonable" price.
I would also increase the time you could list things to 7 days for those items that move a bit more slowly.

Um if he sold it for 15 million then it was worth 15 million, not 10.

please, feel free to go run these ops RE the relic and sell for a lower price. Since you are certainly free to do so. If you feel that the price is too high, feel free to not pay it. It is not anyone's responsibility but your own to determine how much or little you pay for something. The person best equipped to tell me what I am most capable of doing is ME!

In all honesty, if a price ceiling was implemented, it would kill the gtn. If I was told that I could only go to a certain price, I'd start vendoring everything, if for no other reason than to blow raspberries at the wanna be communists.

Cheers
