This is the MMO surface end-user mantra. You are controlling a character in a seriously story-driven MMORPG. hilarious hypocrisy. Keep pretending you're cool bro.

Yeah, but who'd want to RP with those people? I don't. Nothing more boring than a bunch of officers with nobody to command *shrugs* One of the biggest problems I have with 'military RP' in most MMOs, to be honest. Everyone and their mother wants to play a high ranking ******, but nobody actually serves under them.

Meh.

If you watch the Order in the movie you'll notice that most of the Jedi killed in the first phase of the Purge were killed by being shot in the back by what they thought were their own guys, while they were busy fighting the Seperatists. And those that *didn't* get killed that way were ultimately hunted down by Vader or Starkiller, not just normal Troopers.

Attacking a force sensitive by surprise is certainly possible and effective, trying to do the same thing while he expects it and is prepared to fight might not be too good of an idea.

The only problem is that everyone wants to play the average spy that can outwit an overconfident force user that has no rules against abusing their power.

Only problem is that, aside from the extreme amount of skill in this regard, no one seems to understand that smart mouthing a Sith Lord who has basically super powers and can actually end a non Force user's life simply through choking is not a smart idea, no matter how BA your agent is. Even the storyline agent has to choose their words carefully, think back to the Korriban scene with Darth Jadus and what happens if you get lippy as if you're not talking to an evil super powered Sith.

So yeah, there are definitely those "yolo Solo" types out there, you just have to ignore them really. I'd rank them up there with the god modded Mary Sue Jedis and Sith tbh, almost as bad as those types that try to proclaim themselves Emperors.

Anyone who thinks it's impossible for non force users to kill sith or jedi should have a chat with HK-47 in the KotOR games... he gives plenty of insight there.

The soldiers weren't trained from their youth to execute that exact order. That was one of a large number of special orders. They also weren't specially trained to fight force users. They were trained to be effective soldiers, but I doubt your average clone trooper was even Mandalorian quality.

Speaking of which, there are plenty of weak Sith and Jedi in this era. The movies era jedi, particularly original trilogy, were some of the strongest ever(with the original trilogy jedi and sith being the strongest ever). The number of expert Jedi/Sith killers we meet in the game(expert implying they've killed jedi and sith before) who are non-force users implies that its quite reasonable for a professional soldier of above average quality to not exactly be terrified of some Sith.

Imperial Intelligence is their own special branch of the military, possibly serving, depending on head canon, the most powerful Sith still involved in the galaxy(strongest Sith who is not the Emperor). It wouldn't surprise me in general if mundanes serving different Sith were insubordinate towards their master's rivals. After all, if ordered to, they'd try and kill those rivals.

I never said it wasn't a plan…. look where i posted it and what i referenced before opening your mouth and "trying" to correct what didn't need to be corrected… I know it took a PLAN that why i quoted under his post that said they would need a plan to kill jedi/sith (like order 66 )
Solo capping nodes is what I do best... If you're solo defending, prepare to be stun locked and killed!

We all know it's the Sith Empire right? So I'm just wondering why every other Agent or Bounty Hunter you see thinks it's okay to tell that Sith Lord to go screw themselves. Bounty Hunter I can understand to a degree, however Agents I really can't seeing as they fall under Imperial Military, meaning unless you're a Moff of some kind, that Sith is above you in a Chain of Command right? Before people think it, no this isn't about my own personal ego or anything. Just something I've noticed and I'm curious about the other sides standpoint on it.
No one is a Sith (or anything else) in my IC universe unless I say so. So if someone tries to say IC "I am Darth/Lord So-and-so," my reply is "So you say."

There is an odd misconception on the part of some that RPers are bound by the game's mechanics in terms of class, level, titles, etc.
