I know very little of ESO or Wilstar past the basic intro but I purchased both.

housing it not something I am interested in and I don't like GSF so I'll be testing both games and spending my money in their cash shop as opposed to SWTOR.

SWTOR may not have much to fear from the Star Wars fans, but MMO players have 2 different MMOs coming out next month to choose from. Both have a decent appearance system and at least one has a much more involved crafting system.

To bad those devs at Carbine and Zenimax failed miserably on the PVP. PVER's are going to be in hog heaven though.
Odysseus, SWG server Flurry, Commando, TK/Rifleman, Fencer/Combat Medic.

Maybe it is just me. I fail to see how Carbine failed on the PvP aspect. Arenas from the get go. Being able to run open arenas starting at lvl 30 so you can get a feel for the maps and how your class feels.

Having personal ratings in everything. From random battlegrounds to Warplots. Warplots big 40v40 matches. Having played one of the 3 warplots that have been organized thus far. I had a good bit of fun doing it.

What makes it so Carbine failed on the pvp aspect?

And ESO will have keep base siege battles. Larger PvP battles than SWTOR will ever see. Not exactly my thing but that is also far from being a failure.

As I stated, SWTOR has nothing to fear when it comes to Star Wars fans, they'll defend every aspect of this game.

And how has Zennimax failed? from what I saw of ESO pvp it is almost an exact copy of DAOC one of the most revered pvp mmos ever. I guess if youre an arena pvp person its not for you but for people who like open world and real objective based pvp I think it will be THE pvp mmo.

star wars fans don't like tor.

star wars fans want swg back. star wars fans will flock to wildstar as it offers everything that made swg the greatest mmo made. what does tor have to offer? gsf is being forgotten, the housing system looks bland and boring, pvp is a mess, pve is just re-releasing the same raids and hm content. the devs are down to a skeleton team.

wildstar is the final blow to tor maybe disney will see what the players want and will give us back swg.

multiply that sentiment by a few hundred people that spend real money on SWTOR and you will feel the impact after a month or so.

Don't act so smug, everyone that invests in this game keeps it alive and is free to state their opinion. By telling them to leave, that they won't be missed, we heard that right before this game had to go free to play because enough people listened to posters like you.

And posters like you just cry on the forums 24/7 and do nothing else in their boring and sad lives. It's just a VIDEO GAME. If you don't like it go and spend your time on something else. Life is too short to spend it crying like a spoiled brat on some forums.

Same story year ago when GW2 came out - this game is gona kill SWTOR, the game is dead, me and my whole guild are leaving etc. And it's still alive. Even more than before GW2 came out.

I just don't understand one thing... If someone finds Wildstar amazing, and SW:TOR a boring piece of ***** which can't be ''saved'', why don't they just go to Wildstar forums and praise that game there?

I'll never understand the point on crying on some forums. If i don't like a game, i will come open a topic, write things that i don't like, so maybe one of the devs will see it ( which i know won't happen ) and leave for good or till i hear the game gets in a better state.

The need to see if other people share their opinion. Or just trolls.
