I have a feeling we came from two totally different places anyways, anyone who doesn't think not having a combat log in an mmo that you can look at and tell how youre hitting and being hit or what abilities were used against you is a big deal and how huge it is that the devs of this game did not understand that, then we aren't in the same league.
http://www.torparse.com/ (a 3rd party combat log addon kind of like how everyone else does it.) And I'm not in a league. Not one based on a MMORPG anyway.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

This is what I was talking about, you think that's a positive thing about the game. I think it shows the utter incompetence and lack of understanding the Devs have.

and I don't think you know what that phrase about being in a different league means.

Had you read the post you stopped reading after the first line, you would have seen the following: "I think it would definitely help if a new window element was added to the game's native UI that displayed parsed combat sequence information in real time." That's pretty funny. Step back down into a breathable atmosphere and the response will gain clarity.

Yeah "you think it would help", I understand that's what you think. I think the fact that they didn't do it in the first place and that it is a fundamental and very basic mmo tool shows the greater over all problems of this game, the fact that they still haven't made a real combat log shows that they haven't rid the company of the people with the flawed ideology that tanked the game in the first place.

And im glad you think its funny, but you still don't seem to know what it means lol.

As a combat veteran, I am fully aware of what elite means. I just can't bring myself to apply it to something as mundane and innocuous as playing a video game.

LOL, where are you getting elite? I play mmos in a way that makes combat windows very useful lol but it doesn't make me "Elite". If you just run around trying on new clothes and doing bounty hunter events then youre not coming from the same place I am. But it also means you don't understand what im talking about so its pointless.

Have fun.

Combat veteran to combat ... windows? You truly are in a league of your own. You win.

Every time the subject of native in-game combat metrics comes up, there are at least as many people arguing violently against it as there are people arguing violently for it.

The solution we have now (3rd party logging tools) allows both sides to get what they want.

Edit: Plus, aren't you the "add-on-champion"? It's weird to see you object to the ONE type of add-on that actually works with this game Cheeze.
