Opinion presented as fact doesn't make it factual.

Perhaps the players have simply quit playing? To assume they've embarrassed the lack of story content is silly.

Take a look...

He opened his thread ON the premise that he is speaks for "we" the players about a concern that he has personally. He did not just casually use "we" as the basis for anecdotal comment later in the body of his thread. He OPENED with speaking for "we" the players as the soapbox for the rest of his thread post.

If you cannot make the distinction in intention here.. that's fine. I call them how I see them. I don't oppose use of the word "we" in forum discussion, I simply object to it as a premise of justification. If the player is sincere in his belief about something.. the last thing in the world he needs to do is present it under the auspices of "we the players".

Actually, since the complaint threads about class story are fewer over time... I would say that while there will never be unanimous consent on anything in this forum (any gaming forum really)... the lack of ongoing drama about it in the forum does in fact lend credence to my observation that most players appear to have moved forward. Note that I never (and rarely ever do) stated "ALL" players, etc. etc. I don't believe in absolutes, particularly when they are in the context of player bias.

It's a weak thread topic, not because of the topic. It's weak because the OP went immediately to standing on the shoulders of other players to give alleged credibility to his concerns.

Please remember, too, that class stories ended on Corellia. Ilum, a planet in the initial release of the game, had none. Faction stories after the class stories ended have been the direction of the game since well before release.
I get that some like liver and onions, I'd say that for you and players like you 1-50 is your liver and onions....after your first plate tho, you can only eat chittlins. (Chitterlings for those not from the south lol) As far as faction stories being the direction since b4 launch. I say that while this may be true, It's not working. And I'd hate to think it'd take another mass exodus to convince the board of directors at BW/EA out this fact.

I'm not the one who has the habit of admonishing someone for the use of the word "we", only to use it in the SAME post as a counter-argument following the earlier admonishing.

Again...

You have an issue with him using the term as a premise for justification but NOT when it suits your particular needs, concerning your counter-argument. It pretty much comes down to that. Also, your findings based on the opinion of people you talk to in the game can hardly be considered relevant, scientific or even reliable, as far as accurate data is concerned.

"Fewer threads" and "unanimous consent" are not one and the same.

Also, people presenting their views, when in a detailed and educated fashion, which is something that doesn't matter as much as it should, it's not exactly "ongoing drama".

So it is connected to the Dread Masters. So 3 daily zones connected to one overarching story. 1 daily zone connected to a planetary storyline. And 2 that are more or less internal standalone arcs. Well I had clean forgotten Makeb counts as a daily zone, make that 2 for daily zones connected to a planetary storyline.

Given, one of the standalone arcs was from launch, but the fact that they've "interrupted" the series of daily zones attached to the overarching storyline with both a standalone arc and a planetary arc makes it difficult for me to anticipate what our next daily zone might be like.

Also the story-less GSI dailies. Not as relevant to what we're discussing though imo.

Actually liver and onions when prepared properly is quite good. While chittlins aren't my cup of tea, they do quite well on top of a nice bit of mustard greens prepared with hog shank. And yes, I prefer to make lemon custard pie when presented with lemons, you may keep your lemonade and not sully my bourbon with it.
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

You are wise and powerful. Don't touch my bourbon, but if you're going to hand me a lemonade, there had better be vodka in it.

"Oblivious" is someone who's a bit clueless, concerning his surroundings, whatever the nature of those surroundings may be I believe. "Megalomania" is a different beast.
