1: They have all the "problems" that have been cited here and in other jedi robe threads. Short sleeves, belt on the outside and tucked shirt. Very nitpicky differences if you ask me but some people seem to be up in arms about it and won't rest until they get something that looks exactly like they did in the movies (despite no other class having that in the game since, you know, times change and fashion with it )

2: could'nt help but read your name and post in scruffy's voice
Well done

Technology changes as far as trooper and bounty hunter gear goes, so yes there is no real 'traditional' look for either classes. As for Jedi; believe what you want but they have had a similar look throughout their thousands of years. You may think we are nitpicking and so to speak, we actually are but having the right Jedi look is important to us, just like voice modulation on helmets is important to you.

My Jedi doesn't equip a helmet so I couldn't care less about missing voice modulations on them. If I had to guess you don't run a Jedi as your main, so you couldn't give two hoots about the right Jedi garments. So why is this thread now so important for you to chime in and take a stab at us whenever you get a chance? I don't understand what you are trying to do.

That's like me coming into a thread about the "Lack of Voice Modulations on Helmets" and telling people that they are just nit picking and its not that important. It would be quite insulting because its important to some people.

I have nothing against you and your opinions are respected but it looks like you just hate us now.

They don't have sleeves, they have arm wraps bc the devs are too lazy to fix clipping issues. Also the belt is on the outside of the robe bc again the devs are too lazy...

Well after i saw this picture http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/...or_Concept.jpg from last cantina tour i think they are heading in right direction. Even without mask this would be desired looking for many.

I hope we see this soon in live game
The Division Dev:
I will say this. Video games have a business side as well as the creative side. This is necessary to function and only time will tell what the future of the game is.

They just don't look nice visually with the mentioned stuff. It all gives a single texture on the chest while stuff like Valiant or Eradicator (with belt on the inside) create a nice illusion of layered clothing. Also I did little test - you know them "short skirt leg pieces"?

There are only two in the game afaik - Naga Sadow's and Handmaiden's. If we put them together with a robe that doesn't have a belt on the outside and even a hanging crotch flap - they don't clip. Meaning that Jedi-like robes are possible at this stage :/

"Skirt pants" would need to get a retexture to make them look a continuation of the shirt and give pants a baggy pants illusion like Sion's have.
Chest piece would have the two pieces of cloth hanging below the belt, which would be a continuation of the tabard texture - they'd have to be free-physics because the glued stuff will glitch and clip. That's it.

No big-brown-robe version is also very possible at this stage. http://s12.postimg.org/bwyfo50p9/artwork.png Just simple-down this piece by removing all unnecessary pieces of steel and hanging cloth and replace it with tabard, add long sleeves. IT would look great! Pants like Sion's will fit perfectly and if only they made knee-high boots.

I have heard the argument against "traditional robes" being made due to the time gap between this game and the SW we all know, however I cannot accept that answer since traditional looking robes were about for KOTOR 2.

Plus if you think about it the majority of the trooper armour models in the game are extremly similar to those used by the clones during the clone wars, so perhaps there comes a stage where "fashion" just halts in the SW universe.

I've already busted the time gap argument.
