What has skimpy gear do with gays and bis?

Personally I don't care, why complain about skimpy gear, no one is forced to wear it

It only gives players more possibilities. You can go half-naked in real life, so you should be able to do it in the Star Wars universe if you want to.

The problem is they're releasing nice gear, making skimpy versions... Like the chestpiece that I linked, I'd love to use it on my sorcerer/marauder, but not the skimpy version. I know i'm not forced to use it.

I am straight, married 24 years and my chiss sage wears his covert chest armor. My wife loves it, and it lets the ladies have something to look at. I have no doubts in my manhood, I dont need clothes to remind me that I am heterosexual. I cant help it, I like the ladies. It is no different than a body builder wearing a shirt that shows off his muscles..he is confident he looks good. a lady wearing clothes that show off her body is not making a statement about her availability, why should it be different for men?

If it helps your immersion, think of it this way: In the movies the vast majority of characters are wearing cloth. Smugglers, Jedi, Sith all in fabric. Fabric gives no protection against weapons. Who wears armor aside from Boba Fett? Storm troopers. In the movies, storm troopers die like flies. Their full armor doesn't seem to afford them any more protection than fabric, and fabric gives no protection. Since armor isn't providing any real protection against blasters and lightsabers, it makes no difference if there are holes in it.
My name is Milind. I checked it again and can confirm you there is no bug with any companion in the game.

Can we get something that is more Star Wars instead of a stuff that fits pride parade? This game is only PEGI 16.
Dude, I like you and all, but it's not going to happen.

in January, Musco replied to your post telling you there were "several" in the works.

Now we have the previews for packs through 6-months, SIX MONTHS after he said "several are coming", and there's nothing but more reskins with abdomen-sized chunks missing and skin-tight versions of the KOTOR lore outfits (which managed to NOT be skin-tight in a decade-old game.....)

THEY DON'T CARE. It couldn't be more obvious, and at this point, it's clear they're doing it on purpose.

This is brilliant. I'm stealing this for next time someone brings up the idea of it only making sense to wear full body armour in this game.

Because straight women are a myth.

While I agree that some of the skimp gear coming out now is lazy and poorly done (even Ixum expressed his concern about how much Bioware is putting in) attacking gay and bisexual male players isn't doing you lot any favours.

Really, it's very easy to say you're disappointed with the gear (It's obviously an easy cut-and-paste job, it doesn't take much effort design wise, it lends nothing to the over-all addition of armours, it's essentially the same as all the colour-variation re-skins &etc.) without going "I'm not homophobic, but..."

It's very telling that the instant I saw this thread's title, I knew that the first page would have posts going "I'm not homophobic, but..."

It's like suddenly, as far as you and certain others are concerned, there are suddenly no female players in this game. Which is ridiculous. There's been a demand for equal opportunity skimp for a good while. That discussion linked earlier in this thread demonstrates this. But for the last time - it's not just gay people asking for it . Some female gamers (me included) are fine with male players dressing their female characters and companions in slave girl outfits etc - we just want the same opportunity with our male characters.
I have thought of that before, yes of course.

But since that thread is the most seen about this subject, we tend to think that it's mostly gay people the ones asking for this.

Anyway... as I said before, in my opinion I rather see (in my case) female bodies covered with tight fit outfits than showing body parts. What is not actually revealed is sexier in my opinion.

I gotta say though, even preferring to dress my female chars and companions like said above (yeah although I'm a man, I do prefer to look at a female body all day than to a man's butt), some half naked outfits have nice looks like the Relaxed Vestments Armor from the Archon's Contraband Pack and the upcoming Casual Vandal Armor from the Hotshot's Starfighter pack.

Just as an example, my commando's outfit that's mostly made of pvp conqueror's set parts. It looks a lot better on a female char than a male one (I had one before).
