I have spent alot of time playing Wildstar, the main problem is that I get tired of it very quick. With SWTOR I can go on for hours and hours but with Wildstar I get bored after an hour.

I will keep my SWTOR sub and play Wildstar for a month during june, time will tell what happens.

My guess is that Wildstar will end up on the shelf and SWTOR will be the game I play through 2014.

But that is up to Bioware to deliver new interesting content, I am very tired of recycled content.

Content in SWTOR is very good, regardless of what many think of the game as a whole the class stories, world-arcs, flashpoints and operations all are enjoyable content.

Wildstar's content is really very boring and whilst the combat is exceptional fun, that alone isn't enough to keep people interested. TERA is a good example of this.

The new combat system is interesting, very fast and hectic sometimes it's difficult to follow especially when you're being attacked by a Stalker. To be fair most MMO's are like that when you first PVP. My only criticism really is the limited action bars. I've gotten use to SWTOR and it's myriad of spells that you get at low levels. One thing I can say for sure, it's WAY better than ESO. Initially I planned on canceling my SWTOR sub, but I will keep it and play both even though I will eventually cancel one (very hard to play two MMO's). While I'm really enjoying Wildstar, while I'm playing I'm constantly reminding myself despite it's flaws how awesome SWTOR actually is, despite the DEV's not being proactive enough on the PVP front.
What? Why would they be proactive on the PvP front? I came back to see how the game was doing and to cancel my sub I forgot about. Even I read the PvP FAQ and it's obvious they dont care about the PvP front for this game at all.

This just in...

Game X is going to hurt/has nothing to fear/is pretty much the same as Game Y!

Meanwhile, everyone awaits Game Z.

News at never o'clock...
"50 Grades of Shae", a heart-warming novel about a Mandalorian that delivers beat-downs and assigns grades to her victims.

I left WoW BECAUSE Swtor had voice acting and awesome stories and cut scenes. Plus, I got tired of Elves and Orcs and Dwarves since every single MMO I ever played had those in them. I enjoy SWTOR and haven't been bored yet...though there ARE days when I'm like 'OMG Bioware, where's the new stories for 'whatever' already!'
Bioware, please remember our companion spouses when doing new expansions. I want scenes, letters, or something from them, saying they're worried!

Outdoor season is right around the corner. Will see this fall if the new gens are worth jumping ship or not. Doesn't look like BW has any plans for open RvR events...so I probably will. Same ol gear grinds and new level cap makes it easy to jump if that is the case.

Did winter beta and now the preorder weekends in Wildstar. I like it because it has a lot of different things, many quests, housing, etc. I did not care for the crafting system as it sits but I never liked the one in swtor either with the exception of Biochem.

I have pre-ordered and set up a 3 month billing plan. That should give hubby and I enough time to see if it is where we want to hang our hats.

A lot of people thought the same thing after this game launched and Diablo 3 was released. Too completely different games, completely different styles. A lot of those people left to play Diablo 3 and never came back. Population plummeted and BioWare finally merged servers 4 months later. Canderous Ordo used to be my home server.

Correlation does not equal causation. There was definitely a massive drop-off in subs soon after launch, but I don't believe that Diablo 3 had any significant part to play in that.

That D3 happened to come out about six months after SWTOR, while the drop-off was happening... well, i could just as easily say:

Still trying to forget that game was ever released.
