STOP the HALF-NAKED complaints. Jesus H Christ, none of you seem to be up in arms about all the *********** bikini's out there for the women, are you?
You know, the slave gear and the dancer sets (Republic, Imperial and metric ****-tonne of others on the GTN). Lets not forget the belly tops for most female Inquisitors, can't leave those out!

Not a day goes by that I don't see a female character running around in one of those outfits, accompanied by what I can only imagine is there twin of a companion in the same exact outfit!

It has hit the point where some of the items are skimpy just to be skimpy. They aren't well designed which is sad.

Personally, I dislike all the skimpy outfits (for males & females alike), because I find them distasteful (for several reasons). Out of all my characters, none of them own or wear any form of skimpy outfits, and I doubt I ever will.

What irks me is that ever since the CM came out we've been getting a steady flow of skimpy outfits (whether it be 1-4 in a pack), and it has come to the point where they should take a break for now and focus on other things that people have been suggesting in the Cartel Market suggestion forum.

Not to mention, the more current skimpy sets have been lazily made (most if not all are now just cut-outs from outfits that are in-game).

It is reaching a point where it is going from, "Meh, I just won't wear it. It doesn't bother me if others enjoy it." to "Okay, that enough now. When are they going to focus on other suggestions people have been wanting. Too many skimpy outfits!".

Why can't Bioware take a break (3-6 months) from skimpy outfits to focus on other things? Then bring it back later, when they are in higher demand again, because at this point it seems like they are making skimpy outfits just for the sake of being skimpy.

I'll throw my 2 cents here...

I am not against gay people, of course not, there are cases in my family and I that's no reason for me to dislike such people.

Anyway... with that said, I gotta be honest and say that these half-naked clothing for men is really odd looking to me a straight guy. Even the female half-naked gear is kinda odd looking sometimes. I rather have, on my female chars, some tight fit clothing instead, like the conqueror set for troopers.

I sincerely look to these male sets and don't know what to think.

I know, I know... the gay community has the right to be heard and I totally agree with that, but almost every single CM pack comes with a half-naked gear set that looks really odd.

In a game side, we gotta stop and think... we're fighting against light sabers and blaster fire, we need to cover the body against them.

Anyway... I won't say devs need to toally stop releasing them, but with so many already in and on course, a little "slow down" would be appreciated.

Actually, the most we have gotten is 2 per pack.
A measly 17% per pack. And that's just the latest set of packs. Before that it was 1 per pack. Before that, 0.
Stop overblowing the issue.

Besides, you all know that those 1-2 outfits per pack would have been reskinned outfits that were already in the game and everyone would be wailing about how bad it is to release reskinned outfits.

I agree. BioWare listens to the large thread of people wanting skimpy clothes, but not the plethora of threads wanting traditional/lore-fitting clothes.

For God's sake. It's not the gay community asking for it. It's as much about heterosexual women wanting to skimp the male outfits. What is hard about that to understand? It's like suddenly, as far as you and certain others are concerned, there are suddenly no female players in this game. Which is ridiculous. There's been a demand for equal opportunity skimp for a good while. That discussion linked earlier in this thread demonstrates this. But for the last time - it's not just gay people asking for it . Some female gamers (me included) are fine with male players dressing their female characters and companions in slave girl outfits etc - we just want the same opportunity with our male characters.

I like having some skimpy gear introduced with every pack, I just wish it wasn't low quality "shovel ware" we keep getting lately.

I am digging the Casual Vandal Armor Set, but the rest looks pretty poorly made. (again)

They still can't seem to move on from the tube top design either. Something a little more interesting to cover the chest would be most welcome. The Unburdened Champion Armor Set is an improvement in that regard, but it still looks unnatural. You can just tell by looking at it it was never designed to be revealing. It looks like somebody left their clothing with a 5 year old and a pair of scissors.

They need to learn that trying to skimpify existing armor rarely ever looks right, and often looks cheap.

( I cannot believe the irony of a certain AC/DC song playing during the writing of this post)

Mainly because those threads are usually started by the same people over and over again.
I see the same 10-15 people in those threads every time.
