It baffles me that some people seem to think that armor that is revealing on males -- regardless of the fact that it is also revealing on females -- is catering to gay men. I know there are jokes about there being no women in MMO's, but come on! >.< Besides, as others have pointed out, outfits that show skin are the minority and there are far more that are full coverage.

And honestly, aside from the Hunter sets, the outfits in the Hotshot's pack that show skin aren't that skimpy IMHO. Sleeveless, tube top with a full jacket over it, a Jedi outfit that has -gasp- short sleeves and some cutouts on the front of the torso . . . your character will only look half-naked in these types of tops if you pair them with a bikini bottom or something.

But I must concede that the Series 858 Cybernetic armor set is kind of a half naked look. Scandalous, really, to be walking around showing so much leg!

Yeah, that seems strange to me as well.

The only issue I have with skimpy outfits is when they take existing armor which looks good but isn't adaptive and then chop out parts for it all for the sake of being skimpy.

That Jedi chest only has 1 adaptive full version but you have to wait till 43 and be the right rep level to purchase it.

Not forgetting armor sets that become orange for the first time, casual combat armor set I think it's named, Alec would know.

That Jedi chest is not even part of the upcoming Jedi sets that are being released, since there are some noticeable differences in the leggings, belt and bracer.

Bit nitpicking but it's there.

I'm talking about the first cartel market rep vendor that sells level 43 purple chest pieces if you are friend for 40,000 a piece. There is an adaptive version of the Jedi robe in the next pack and the pack after words that isn't chopped up.

I know the one you're talking about. It's basically an adaptive version of the Venerable Paragon's chest piece, for Republic players.

It's called Honored Adept.

The point I'm trying to convey though, is that the upcoming skimped Jedi armor sets ARE not actually part of the armor set that comprises the Venerable Paragon's full armor set.

When it comes to Jedi stuff I only look at Robes, so it really doesn't have any matter to me prsonally.

Regardless, as I mentioned earlier, I'm glad they're introducing these belts and bracers in adaptive form.

I agree. They need to start being more creative.

This is why I look forward to packs. Because each pack usually makes several new items that weren't adaptive, adaptive.
