Another point is that chapter 3 isn't a million miles away. That will likely be an 'expansion' with the level cap increasing to 60. This will make all level 55 gear (remember when EWH got raped) obsolete. So whats the point in grinding this 2 year old hamster wheel again just for 2.7 - 3.0? Unless Bioware provide a decent explanation, i can't see any reason in doing it at all. Would be nice to see a Dev response to this petition...

/signed I don't PvP to get PvP gear. I get PvP gear so that I can be competitive in PvP. Once I got min-maxed Conqueror's gear, I just PvP at that point. Maybe pick up some Obroan gear if I get the comms for it, if I'm not already gearing out alts instead. Once I have good enough PvP gear, gear becomes the furthest thing from my mind when I PvP. Giving us a new gear grind is just annoying.

I have 5 55s, this is weeks of time and for what, to get back to an "even" playing field? The logic defies me...

yeah, I don't see the need for another tier of PvP gear until all the stats get messed with again due to a level cap increase.
