Understanding what the smash nerf ACTUALLY does.

Both Leaps root, so unless you have a KB or movement increase most of the time, you'll eat that Smash.

Well, it does not happen, so either I do something good or they do something bad.
I also am often on the move so the mere server lag makes sure they won't land in the best spot to hit me.

Also, I read in many guides about how useless is Creeping Terror (madness top talent) yet I think it's godly. 2s stun (+ DoT) on gore (carnage)? Half of it is gone. Knockback + 2s stun? There you go with yer smash.

Sure I die a lot vs good warriors (if they are in premade) BUT they are so few that I spend whole evenings at complete peace

Well technically Creeping Terror is a root, Not a stun so it doesn't deny Carnage a Gore window if they root you with Ravage/Deadly Throw/Force Charge but I agree that this 2s Root works wonders and using Overload->Creeping Terror is quite good for kiting...since it allows you to run for quite a bit too. I also noticed that when fighting smashers Carnage Predation allows you to get away from Smash Range quite often if all they do is Obliterate->Smash.

How bout you quit being so butt hurt because the AoE portion of an ability that everyone agrees is OP is getting scaled back for pvp only? Make a smasher and find out what it really does.

This statement right here pretty much disqualifies you from having any credibility. Rage specs damage comes from smash. The rest of the abilities are primarily filler moves used to build rage or to spam for cd reduction. You can argue why smash was was poorly designed as a tree, which I'd agree with; but, smash is one of the lowest parsing single target DPS specs in game. There's some between the lines understanding you need to have here.

Yes it does. Roll a Vengence toon and smash a geared player. It'll crit for 3.5k....maybe. 2k is average.
