Can we get some dev response on this matter, it's obviously on top of players' minds.

They would like to do this at some point, but it is technically challenging and would require too many resources.

They should only introduce new gear when the level cap is increased. Or lower the cost of the ranked gear so that it isn't as much of a grind.
Personally, what aggravates me the most are the implants and relics. As every time new ones are released, I have to either shell out money for an mk-9 or make one. Then install it all over again, 36k
I don't understand WHY it costs creds to pull mods out. Or why it costs creds to install an mk-9 slot. It doesn't gate people. Just a cred sink.

I'd love to see moddable relics. Akin to the LOTRO legendary weapons. Give about 7 slots, each with different components. Make it so the relics can reflect your play style. Where it will increase threat, or increase dmg of this attack, that attack. CDs. Ect ect.
Give us something to play with and customize our characters. Instead of introducing the next set of fugly gear to grind for. Because lets be honest....Obroan, as well as Conq gear...both are fugly. And very little differences between the classes.
