Official Petition: Please DO NOT create another tier of PvP gear for 2.7

Or maybe the grind should actually be meaningful, which it currently is not, outside of a few pieces.
Do you disagree that adding more gear, while the entire system is in question, is the right thing to do? Do you want to see more threads about PvE gear being better than the new tier PvP stuff? That is what is going to happen if they do this..

At a minimum, I am glad that the word is out that the system is screwed up, but I still can't excuse the devs for putting another bandaid on the problem.

In a game that has no open world, no guild wars, and no other form of PvP aside from the battlegrounds style that swtor has, there shouldn't be a guy that is running around globalling people with the "Sword of 1,000 Truths" just because he spent 3 months getting it. I'm all for hard grinds. I had a Jedi before the NGE in SWG. But this game will not fit that style well at all.

This game should have a minimal gear grind and should focus on balancing PvP and creating distinction with PvP gear shells/aesthetics that requires specific RATED pvp rating to acquire. There shouldn't be a near gear grind ever 4-6 months like there is now.

they can add new set bonuses to grind for, new enhancements such as power/crit, even new relics with different effects.

or if they do...at least give us a discount per level 55 so it's easier and not such a chore to gear alts. some of us are good on multiple characters

Bioware should introduce new gear, but make the new tier of gear cost 1500 ranked comms each, instead of 2500.

This is what I want. More options for set bonuses. The ability to choose. Mix and match. Pyro PTs have never enjoyed a 2-piece set bonus.

Srsly the pyro PT having to use eliminator set has bothered me for a long time. Pretty sure BW won't do anything to fix broken set bonuses though. Just make useless +5 more stat "next tier" sets.

Why do people keep referring the "grind" as some tedious task you need to do so you can compete
It's not a grind for me and never has been I enjoy pvping and the gear just comes
If you think pvping and acquiring gear is so painful maybe you should look at your motivations for playing
Because I have never noticed it on any of my toons as it the "gear" is acquired by doing what I enjoy which is pvp.
