[IMPORTANT] Character Loading Issues

I cant access anything on the start menu all I get is a background of space and no charaters or anything

Same here.

I doubt this will help but I will list things I have seen or had happen with me.

1) if you have overwolf and it updated, you may have to remove it if the game starts to load and then crashes.

2) if you try to login a character and it sits at the loading screen forever. close game out and try to login a different character. if it gives you error you cant login due to character X is active, then goto server select and pick a different server. create a new character and login. Logout and go back to your server and login a character different from the one that is stuck. if login is successful log out and try the stuck character.

3)If you have Verzion Fios then there is some issues especially within the dallas texas area.

4) For me there is a hugh issue with the diskcachearena file corrupting and I have had to start deleting the file on a daily basis to prevent loss of UI items while playing.

I live in Dallas, Tx - Whats the issue that you heard?

Be advised that while this seems to work, it appears that for several people (myself included), the MTU gets changed back to default when you reboot, meaning you would have to change it AGAIN in order to play this game. It may have to do with Windows version, because this is working for others.

I was however able to get past the launcher after 2.6a patch downloaded but I did have any severs in the server menu.

Ebon Hawk server, cannot load my character at all....the loading bar gets to less than a quarter full and then NOTHING. Trying to switch to another server to see if I can load my other character, and the server screen is BLANK!! And all this is when the game itself actually manages to load up! When I don't even get past the launcher login, I get something like "unable to load patch data". The fact that you guys have over FOURTEEN pages on this thread, mostly reports and complaints like mine, is NOT a good sign, people....
