How do you do this? Buy pvp weapons and then sell them back? i thought there was a timer?

There is a timer, so you have to continually replace them to stop the timer from expiring. It takes a bit of work, but you can save a boatload of comms.

The timer stops when you log out.

hmmm .. ill have to test this out .. i didnt know the timer stopped when you log out, but it seems like you could end up losing coms, especially with a horrible memory like mine.

You can if you're not careful. Buddy of mine got drunk while playing once and lost 12 sabers lol.

NO MORE PVP GEAR GRIND !

Just fix that which is broken (8 second flash grenades, for example, or the whole resolve system).
Another example... WHY am I getting interrupted during an "uninterruptable" polarity shift?

I also saw at lease two players in PVP blatantly using hacks/exploits today.

I could go on, but I won't... you get the idea.

While i don't want to grind out another set of pvp gear i wouldn't mind it right now because i would enjoy a new armor look. I want something kinda like the old war hero gear/battlemaster. Something different and unique for each class.

Yes i know i can rip mods and put it in different gear but i would still like something new. Even if its just empty armor pieces and we can buy the mods or just rip our old ones out. Just a new look would be greatly appreciated.

It's like EvE Online's PLEX system: the developers don't care about who in the end is the guy who shells out the money. Just that someone will do it. You buy off GTN what somebody else has paid with cash.

I love to PvP so much (99.5% of the time) that I have 3 characters mostly in Obroan.

But here's the catch: I want to play my characters when I want, when I feel like, and I'd like to play with my imp or rep guild a whole day with one character in the days they do guild PvP.

But no, if I want to keep up before the next gear reset I must stop playing the character I wanted to play in that day and do PvP dailies with the others.

This would not happen if we had PvP gear upgrades only when it's needed: at new expansions, with true new content, true new levels. Then I'd have more time to play my PvP characters, some even play more than 3 than I do and they are all placed before my same grindy situation.

That's partly what's called "horizontal progression" and it's good for PvP games: giving alternatives, be it purely aesthetic or with equivalent yet different stats allocation so that you can grind your hearts out *if you want*. That is, this is the best of two worlds: no boring grind for those who don't want or can't, get all the carrots you want for those who want a different stat or looks.

Imagine of cool it'd be if they placed proper mods gear you can swap for Obroan instead of grinding single mods forever (of course the swap would cost ranked coms, but would cost less). Imagine getting an actually nice looking gear for those who want to swap Obroan for decent looking shells, maybe with multiple choices unlocked by Valor or max medals ever achieved, rating or some other other criterium. If they want to copy WoW, they may as well copy it in the things that are GOOD not just in the dumb grind.
