Well, he does not present his opinion. He does what he is told. Same with Tait. And we know that the devs are a not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Just please, for the love of all that's holy, please make the enhancements cheaper?

2000 is a slap in the face, try 1000 ranked instead
Im glad you're "Ok" with it. But it doesn't change the fact that it is completly pointless and once you are done, it will have brought you absolutly No benefit whatsoever. That is NOT progression, in my eyes.

And btw, why do you want the cost on enhancements lowered? -Gives you something to do, right?

Seriously though, wouldn't you have found it more entertaining if they released some other form of progression for PvP? Like i mentioned before;

-PvP Reputation Ladder
-Military Ranks that decay so you have to keep feeding them "Valor"
-PvP Achievments with some nice rewards bound to them

Etc etc...there is so much they could do. Sure, you are "Ok" with a new Tier - But what's the Fun and Entertainment in having to grind out a complete new Gear-set, paying for modding (And thereby being forced to do PvE or Craft for cash)...

...and once you are finally done - you are at the exact same spot as you were before they released the new Tier to begin with...how is that progression and fun?

Option A: Grind PvP gear that will be obsolete when the next tier comes out.

Option B: Buy entry level PvE mods and do just as well with zero effort, and since bolster will be brought up to the new tier, you never need to grind again, as its updated as the tiers come out.

This seems like an easy answer to me. Another tier of pvp gear means nothing with bolster. Unless your doing open world. Then I could see the need.

Everybody happy.
First I don't agree. I don't think the gear progression in SWOTR for PvP is burdensome and I like having some gear progress. About all I do is casual PvP so please don't attempt to speak for me.

Of course I don't know what your using for the definition of "Real" PvP'ers so it is difficult to tell. I would assume that because I probably don't agree with your definition that I'm automatically excluded.

"Real PvP'ers" - Well I'd argue that if you were to define "Real PvP'ers" as people that participate in eSports events like the WoW arena tournaments, or the FPS eSports leagues/tournaments, or SC eSports events, etc. That type of PvP'er left SWTOR a long time ago. I did know quite a few people that fit this definition of "Real PvP'er" but they are all gone.

I believe that about all that is left PvPing in SWTOR are casual PvP'ers, many like myself, and I seriously doubt that most of them actually read the forums and even those that do, again like myself, don't agree with no gear profession in PvP.

But, for whatever it is worth from an "Unreal PvP'er" that does nothing but PvP, I do like PvP gear progression.

Add new skins for armor and weapons, but stats should remain static. Gear grinds are not content.

Why can't they do both? It sounds like you want to replace one grind with another, which I get because variety is good. However the point of getting new gear is the same as your ranks and rep ladder, it's all pretty meaningless other than the satisfaction of having completed a goal.

Agreed. Wholeheartedly. The least they can do is fix PvP and finish class balancing before forcing us to go through another pointless grind.

I second this fix it before you make new gear and when you do make sure it works, not many guildS have even completed most 16 Ops Hm no one need new lvl and as I say again people just want a fix in pvp and not blue gear kicking your *****

That is exactly what I said. Vanity items include cosmetic gear.
