Someone bored by the apathy

Not all are (former) WoW monkeys. Just because Blizzard easily brainwashed weak minds does not mean what they preach is right.

I only PVP, have levelled all my toons through pvp only.

All I see with another tier so soon, is basically more of the same old thing. Seems to me to be good timing from devs to release it with Teso etc waiting in the wings.

Makes my decision very easy. I would rather work towards a new gear tier, in a new game. This is way too stale now. The lack of creativity is pathetic.

Actually I would like to see gear progression, just horizontal instead of vertical. Cool skins that are only available through PvP with more meaningful stat tradeoffs (in other words, make dumping crit and accuracy for power less of a no brainer by making stacking crit and accuracy more beneficial in some builds).

Yeah. I really found ESO boring.

But boring for boring, at least it's a new game.

In SWTOR one feels like he's just a cog, turn turn turn, grind, re-grind, re-grind + 1, re-grind +2.

If they put in yet another "gear reset" I will definitely reset my gear in another MMO.

To add insult to injury, PvPing as imp on TOFN is soul-crushing, as sorc it's even worse than soul crushing.
And I can't play in 2 PvP guilds, my rep guild mates want me online in prime time for premades. If I join a good imp guild they too would want me online at the same time. So I have to pick one and the other faction is a slow painful grind as is, I will NOT re-grind again another N = N + 1 set.

We are not even getting an expansion or level change, just N = N + 1 tossed to us with no other reason than to make us pay more sub time with NO fun for us at all.

Well said! I don't mind grinding it out once, but PvP isn't about a gear grind to me...maybe it is to some folk, but it isn't to me. Throw some cosmetic fluff on a vendor and it's more incentive than new gear is imo. I believe the gear grind actually turns more players off.

It feels like they are releasing this new tier just to bandaid the problem and make it so that the highest PvP tier isn't outdone by PVE mods. They wont fix Oboran as it is, they wont fix bolster itself; and my guess is the next time they realease a PVE set, issues could start cropping up again.

I would rather see them fix the countless bugs across the game than release new content/gear.

I assure you, you won't be the only player who thinks this way. I hope Bioware sees the problem they are creating.

GW2 with the introduction of ascended gear has a worse grind than SWTOR. Unfortunately developers have not found a reasonable way to introduce meaningful horizontal gear progression at level cap. It would make me ecstatic if the BW team could pull it off.
