Anyone else surprised the rewards are actually good? I am (part of me is a huge cosmetic junkie). Still doesn't make me want to do Arenas however. Wish this stuff was available to those who did 8v8s.

Items that stand out (Rancor mount!) and can ONLY be earned in this manner are great. It can't just be bought off the GTN or Cartel Market so it is basically an achievement you can wear which is a plus.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next cartell pack shipment had rancor mounts too.

Certainly not the same color as the PVP reward one, but Rancors in Cartel packs will happen if they release any Rancor as a mount. PVPers will just be the first ones to get one.

This man speaks the truth. Not trying to be a debby downer, but its only expected of Bioware (or should I say EAware?). Whether it be through the Cartel Market or just getting it through gameplay (like the original TaunTaun mount) there is going to be more Rancor mounts.

Good rewards, they just need to announce them a bit earlier for season 2! And I don't think solo should get as much credit as team lol

Indeed, the rancor would certainly have been attractive enough to motivate people more than has been the case in the past months.
