I was able to log in and subscribe through the "My SWTOR" link of the webpage. I still got the Maintenance page through the "Login" link in the upper right of the webpage.

If you get the maintenance page, thats an issue with your comp. Just press ctrl and F5 on the maintenance screen and it will sort itself out.

I guess Bioware should make an announcement stating that some ISP's may need a kick start though.
I don't know about tech, but could you explain how it is the ISP's fault? Most of us seemed to be able to access the website and the game fine, but just not login to our account to update our subscription. One of the previous posters spoke to Customer support and they said it was a known problem from BioWare's end. Did something change in the most recent update that would have caused these problems? What should our ISP's be doing and how should they know that they should be doing something? Do we leave our computers set on the Google DNS server? I've never had any issues before.
Thanks

When you connect to the internet you are running ( normally) from your ISP's DNS servers. These are normally automatically updated but may take a good while to be done. Bioware has no control over it. AS others reported, using Googles DNS or OpenDNS, people can access the site 100% fine. This is because those are dedicated companies who only deal with DNS stuff.

Obviously you don't know. You're wrong if we get maintenance page it is not OUR computers issue, considering ctrl f5 does jack crap :P So you're mistaken, that would be saying all these people who are experiencing same problem just happen to all have problems with their computer on the same day? i think not.

If you get the maintenance page and the rest of the site is working fine, then it is a DNS issue on YOUR computer or on your side. The fact others can access it fine proves it is a problem on your end.

Okay a couple of weeks or a month at most ago this SWTOR website was working fine with its account login system on its site. Now this has been the first time I have been able to log on to my account with in a week by changing my DNS settings from the advice of people that shouldn't even be necessary in the first place for a company whose main goal is to provide to easy access to attract customers to buy their cartel coin for ingame products and subscriptions.

Infact through this lazy *** do it yourself frack the rest of you with our silence I can certainly guarantee this current fiasco has costed them more customers who have through common sense thought this was utter crap service and moved on to better MMO's who seem to care more about keeping them happy with open communication to their errors with no problems to quickly resolved logins and not by requiring them to changing their DNS crap to suit the website needs to look up their account information.

What ticks me off the most is this obvious dead silence we are getting from the customer support team. This is obviously an issue that should be resolved quickly with communication to inform us of the progress or the reason behind this cause instead of leaving us in the dark for the community to resolve it for our selves.

I love this game and this company to the last. I was there pumping subscriptions at launch and then buying cartel coins because I wanted to buy there nice stuff and support them during their free to play model. But with this current problem I can guarantee you I haven't bothered playing this game with such problems and have been wondering how many decided not to renew their subscriptions or buy and cartel coins because of this issue.

I urge all of you out there that the only way this will be fixed is to make uproar so Bioware realizes this is a problem. I am getting sick of seeing this game fall apart at the seems for something as so trivial as a never ending login load screen when trying to see your account information. This should not be tolerated by any company and this keep quiet behavior is an appalling service especially to those dedicated to helping the playerbase try and fix the problem for ourselves with a problem that is clearly on biowares end.

I demand that we get some answers to this appalling service problem quickly and that its resolved quickly. This a pathetic treatment any company who hope to keep a good reputation and make money. I am really tossed up with whats going to happen if this continues to be their response to obvious website problems.

So here I am again, unable to log into SWTOR My Account Page. I have changed DNS servers and everything. It was working for a little while but now it is back to the same Maintenance Page (and yes I refreshed several times, flushed DNS again, etc). What is going on guys I can't put in CC Redeem Cards.

This is a terribly annoying issue. I've been unable log in for 3 days. Needed to change my security key since I got a new cell. Finally got in today using the DNS trick, but it's ridiculous that it came to that. Please fix the issue Bioware!
