Changing the dns to 8.8.8.8 worked for me instantly, even the pages that were trying to load that I had forgotten about popped up. Yay.

I have the same issues I can't login to my account from my NZ ISP ( website, game works ) but i am on my dedicated server in europe and have no problems logging in, Everything else works apart from biowares login service so it's on them to fix it no need for people to change DNS due to something on biowares end.

Changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 worked for me as well. Though, completely ridiculous that I had to do it in the first place. Also ridiculous that their customer support was so terrible on the phone (no clue how to help) or on the forums (complete silence). Really, really aggravating!

here is the link for manually setting your DNS
Same here, 8.8.8.8 worked for me as well.

I'm also extremely disappointed in BW. I've seen games with back service, but not many can reach these levels of hopelessness.
I know if you look deep into your heart- which is currently all over that tree- you'll find a way to forgive me.

I followed the instructions listed here ,hope this helps.
This worked for me as well. Set the DNS to Google's, which are Primary: 8.8.8.8 and Secondary: 8.8.4.4.

Follow the instructions listed for you Operating System. I didn't end up needing to restart my system, as it seemed to cycle itself, where I lost internet connect for a few seconds, and it came back up on its own. After it came back up, I was able to login to swtor.com.

Also, before I did the DNS fix, I was able to login from my Android Phone. HOWEVER, in order to do so, I had to turn off WIFI, and use 4G. If the DNS thing is the issue, then your phone will be trying to go through the same route as your computer, thus creating the same issue. So if you are going to use your phone, turn off wifi, and use 3g/4g.

Changing DNS server worked for me too.
BioWare really needs to inform people about this though, it's like they don't want my money or something! If it wasn't for this thread I would have had no idea how to fix the problem, thanks guys.

Its not biowares fault though. Its your ISP's. Remember most only update ones a fortnight or so, unless you force an update.

I guess Bioware should make an announcement stating that some ISP's may need a kick start though.
