Webite needs fixed ASAP!

For the ones that can't log into the SWTOR.COM a few of us in my current guild have tried using GoogleDNS (Primary 8.8.4.4 / Secondary 8.8.8.8 ) as our DNS lookup provider in TCP/IP IPv4/IPv6 settings.

Screenshot below as reference;

Next run CMD in elevated mode (Administrator) then run;


ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew


Now clear the browser cache and reload - this will now redirect to the accounts page in the swtor domain.

Just to mention , check this every few days by going back to the ISP DNS server, most just need to re-tick automatic dns , using google DNS server can affect things like media files getting pulled from a further location just as an example. ( doesn't mean they will but it is possible )

Under normal circumstances it is usually best to use ISP DNS server due to GEODNS settings used by Akamai etc which even swtor uses.

Knowing the primary and secondary was the key thanks. No word or progress on the issue for days by the people actually paid for it. Think I'll let my sub drop again until this is sorted out, or longer. thanks to you I can actually access my account to alter my sub.

I tried this and it still didn't work. I use chrome on my PC, but can only acces ms the forum via my phone. I'm connected to the same network as my PC albeit via wifi instead of Ethernet. So I'm not sure if I logged out on my phone if I'd be affected or if it's just a PC issue. Either way I'm not willing to find out. This needs to be fixed. It's ridiculously annoying.

There has been no resolution on this for days now. Not even a reply from customer service. This is unsatisfactory. Failure of leadership in the CS department.

Yep, same. Just the account page that won't load up. Odd, cause you would think that was the most important page since it makes them their money. Fix please Bioware.
