Brainstorming Threads

Back in the end of October Eric created a few "X-Class Brainstorming" threads for a couple classes. As far as I can tell, while all of these threads have been very active with both good and bad ideas the dev team has been disturbingly absent from those discussions. Since then we have had 2 major patches with very little (if any) input from the dev team on any of the suggestions. What is the point of these threads if there isn't going to be any real discussion with the devs?

They were meant to make you feel good for a few months. They were meant to make you think they cared. They have no desire to do anything the community wants, but they want you to THINK they do.
All warfare is based on deception. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected. If his forces are united, separate them. If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near. A leader leads by example not by force.

To put it simply, it really is disappointing that this is seeming more and more accurate when it comes to class balance.
