Assuming even teams then melee benefit more from support than ranged. Again, assuming equal teams, then a ranged player will be able to stay out of the fight most of the time and won't need heals as much. However, of course having a premade does really help ranged because as I said above, assuming even teams. Ranged is rather hard to play if you team is far worse and you are constantly pressured. In this situation it doesn't really matter though because your team is getting stomped regardless of what you are doing. Also, in this situation a melee would get stomped just as bad.

Really, I challenge anyone here saying that wars are so OP to go pug on a war char for several days and see how well you do when you are pressured. Likely you will be like 95% of the other wars I see who suck when pressured.

How in the world is deception hard? Madness is way harder to play well on assassin. I would say pyro pt and deception assassin are 2 of the easiest.

Having a madness sorc and a carnage of equal skill 1vs1 the loss is doubtfull. Having a madness with healer and a carnage with a healer, the sorc is dead. Getting that to 8x8 is a real scenario.
