Indeed she did.

Yet only once has she used said rage to Force choke high profile adversaries of Shaak Ti's caliber.
Choke-ing doesn't have to be the specific example, she's used Rage for Force Pushes before, or telekinetics, pretty much the same just using different methods.

As for the quote, I'm just going to use this again. She killed herself trying to get him, Right after he uses the lines

"The dark side is inexhaustible." and "I'm only here for your blood."

Yes that's right, I've decided I'm not accepting the Idea that she wanted to kill them both to protect Brood. Mainly because I just noticed the line "She gasped and staggered backward. Her lightsaber and her gaze dropped. A full half meter of red blade emerged from her stomach,"

She wouldn't have been surprised if she'd meant it to happen, and even Ti would realise she was the best hope for killing Vader and ending the empire's Regime and hunting of the Jedi. She sent Brood away from her willingly, instead of letting her stay to help, because she was Wary that Brood was still tainted by the Dark Side. She wouldn't end her own life purposefully and leave Brood on Felucia along, brooding (Unintentional pun) over the death of her master, wanting revenge.

Unfortunately I feel it does, because Shaak Ti can simply weather the rest of Ventress' assaults.

As for the rest of your post, I'm at a loss as to what your point is... she tried to kill Marek, took a risk, and died. Great?

She can try.

She took a massive risk for absolutely no reason, because he taunted her? Surely that means something, if she was truly weathering his force blasts, and out dueling him, she wouldn't have needed to take such a foolish risk unless she was a madwoman or taunted into it
We all live or die as Krayt wills, Stryfe. At his word, I would cut out my own heart. Or yours.

Oi, you dragged me into this with your PM, now help me or die!

That thing that would take Marek down a few pegs would be nice, too!

It's outright stated in the canon that Shaak Ti's plan became protecting Maris Brood from the Empire, I didn't just pull that out of my hyper-drive.

As for the rest, I will debate it later, for the moment I'm too busy, but her plan was definitely to kill the assassin and kill herself once she realised how powerful this agent was.
I am the Battlemaster of the Jedi Order. I've struck you down once already. Today, I'm finishing the job.

Well I don't have really any info for Ventress(I do but it's rather meh then probably what you have on her), hence why I PM'd you cause you seem more knowledable on her. Besides I don't really care who wins, I just didn't want this to be a one sided fight.

Anyway I would, but unfortunetly, my source has gotten disappointed with the Star Wars post EU getting kicked around and so forth saying he is kinda done with Star Wars. So I don't think I am gonna be able to get that information.

Protecting Brood =/= Going suicidal to let her live.

Although a quote would be nice, so I could read into the whole thing.

That's the impression the novel gives as well.
