You might want to check your email sometime shortly after reaching level 10. I recently leveled an Imperial Agent to this point, and sometime after that, and when I checked my email later, I noticed a message from The Old Republic congratulating me on my achievement and offering a bit of advice on going further. The topics covered were things like the Advanced Classes, where to find the trainers, the more appropriate Crew Skill selections, the first companion and a number of other topics.

Rather a cool thing to receive, I thought.
