Operative DPS OP!

scoundrels/operatives are simply the most hated AC in the game. QQ about changes that arent even specified. I doubt, they will restore 1.1 and i wouldnt want it. scrapper/concealment is fun, because it takes skill to get your target down, because you have use most of your abilities (well save overload shot). Most scrappers and concealments wanted more reliable burst (not the RNG fest it is now) and even more importantly more survivability. No matter how well you play the spec, you spend quite some time in spawn against reasonable players.

And lethality surely doesnt need a damage buff, it is in pretty good place in that section. There are other problems with that spec... the weird ranges and again survivability.
But yeah we have to wait and see what they do. At least one pressing thing seems to be addressed:P

First they said nothing about conceal/scrapper trees specifically, so I wouldn't get too excited.

Your first vid shows cuts of a skilled player vs mostly bad players. That first scoundrel in that vid was so bad I'm not sure if it was a bot or not.

For your bottom 2 videos to happen again BW would have to:
1. re-introduce adrenal/relic/wz buff stacking
2. remove the cooldown from hidden strike
3. reverse the damage nerf to hidden strike/backstab
4. put acid blade's armor pen back to 50%? or was it 55%
5. reverse the surge and crit rating cap changes
6. remove bolster from 55 warzones so there would be low expertise people again

I don't understand why people are still so scared of conceal operatives it's pretty much the definition of glass cannon and when treated as such it explodes in a fine brown mist.

Anyway, continue on with the ermagerd teh skies are falling, it's funnier than finding an unshielded sage.

True. I'm not looking forward to these changes though. I'm afraid of the game sliding back to what it was where a DPS op/scoundrel so ridiculously op that it can potentially ruin wz's as it used to.

I'm on-board with those who believe that a minor crit chance increase with some cd's is all that's needed.

DPS ops aren't the only spec that is trash in arena. Guardians/juggernauts and gs/snipers of every spec are complete and utter garbage.

However balancing pvp around arena is a huge mistake. It's impossible. BW should've learned from Blizzards mistake and not attempted to make arena the spotlight of pvp. Not only is it not a popular style of gameplay it's impossible to balance. Coming back after an 11 month break to find that not only had arenas been introduced but had replaced 8v8 as the focus of pvp was a little surprising. The idea was unpopular during beta and continued to be so following launch.

Operative dps are already a decent class. Not the best and not the worst. Why buff a middle of the road AC with a "significant" boost? Because they are BW. They simply don't know any better. Then again, what BW describes as "significant" could turn out to be insignificant, totally earth shattering or merely....... "significant". Who knows? BW certainly doesn't...

Dont hate .. Dylic is me, thats my OP .. There's few players that I will lose to one on one .. If I get a buff, I'll be unstoppable ..

Three shotting was a product of adrenals+clicky power relic. Which is why you can't use clicky relics or offensive adrenals in PvP anymore. Also during the same time frame as your second vid mandos could get 10k on a demo hit back when people only had 14k life....

As for the first vid, lol nearly all his targets had 26k or so hp and obviosuly didnt know how to use half their abilities. The only condeming evidence i saw was how much scamper can be abused in huttball.

I'd rather buff saber reflect. It's the best skill to kill yolo buttonsmashing FOTM degenerates with.

Go back to what? A level 50 with pvp gear blowing up a level 20 in a warzone with no brackets? Face it people, operatives were never OP at launch. The **** they did at launch I did just as much on my combat sentinel when I had a relic+adrenal buff up.

The ridiculous overreaction to operatives at launch was just that, ridiculous. They were exactly how they should of been. A Dangerous burst class that died the minute anything attacked them. The only thing that made them over the top was the relics and adrenals, and that was BW's fault for making those useable in warzones.

I feel like 3 seconds baseline is too short.

Indeed. 5 sec baseline, hooooooooooooooo! Or, at the very least, countdown starts after you're hit by the first Force, or Tech power.
