Still, even if they did fishing and cooking in this game, it would just function like the other gathering and crafting skills,
because why the heck change anything if you already have functioning systems.
in the end you just send your slaves/companions/travelling assistants to do the dirty work.
The whole setup of crew skills is the reason why these two skills would be really unfulfilling in this game.

And still, somehow, to me it feels like they're missing. Oh well. As long as we don't have food intake,
we also don't have to worry about the fact that THERE AREN'T ANY TOILETS ANYWHERE!

edit: Don't drink the yellow water on Nar Shaddaa. It's exactly what you think it is.

Cooking leads to fishing, hunting, and gathering though.. so while cooking can be a fun diversion in an MMO.. mostly they are tedious resource gathering.. and we have that already in game. Now.. if they put stores in game that sell all the food components.. maybe.

noone is pushing you to gather them , like in any other mmo, its not mandatory and often secondary

Then that was the last post we can expect from you in this thread? Somehow, I doubt that.

In EQ2, as I noted, fishing is just a gathering skill. In LotRO, however, it's a mini-game and you can get titles and housing cosmetics from it. Some people like it, some hate it. I like it. But I don't miss it so much that I feel it needs to be in TOR.

Btw that guy left bioware after doing more harm to this game than good check the threads
I know dude...I guess you missed the part where I said "for old timey's sake". Because it's humorous.

I wouldn't say he did more harm then good though. He was just very vocal and vocal people take a lot of heat, much like Ghostcrawler always had.

you can go now, bye!
Now you're just fishing for a reply. I'm tempted to let you flounder about, waiting for my reply...

I'd feign outrage, but that would be a red herring.
