Not sure if I want another Nvidia though, might give one of the new ATI's a whirl (I'm an AMD diehard and I hear Nvidias have compatability issues with phenom II's)

Already canceled mine. I'm not going ruin my first experience with choppy town. Fix, or it's back to Pandas.

Oh for the love of...

What graphics card and driver version are you using?

Because "it's choppy, fix it," doesn't convey any useful information to anybody who might be able and/or willing to help. Especially since it's likely an issue with the graphics card drivers themselves, rather than the SWTOR client. New games often have weird graphics issues until NVIDIA and ATI release updated drivers that are more compatible.

Also, refer back to my two previous posts for info about how to possibly fix the problem (as well as a couple other problems mentioned earlier in the thread) yourself. Or everyone can completely ignore me for a third time, in which case I'll stop trying to help at all.

EDIT: Here. Links to my previous posts.

My first post is on this page, near the bottom, with explanations and possible solutions for the framerate issue (mostly for NVIDIA cards), the BSOD issue, and the memory usage issue.

I restated the possible solution to the framerate issue--after apparently being ignored the first time--on this page, fourth post down.

Anyone using ATI might want to try the 12.1 preview drivers: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles...iewdriver.aspx

I'm downloading them as we speak but I don't expect anything to be fixed really, the problem is with the game client

indeed, in here it's playable but frustrating at times, not to mention it keeps pushing more and more memory until it becomes unplayable and I have to restart the client, at least it takes 3~4 hours til it becomes unplayable meh.

Same issue as Im seeing from a lot of people. Black screen randomly though I can alt tab sometimes and get back into the game. Othertimes crash and reboot. All drivers up to date, pc staying cool, works fine on 2 of my older computers, but this one is my best and it is the one having the issues. Tried everything I can think of, I love the game but Im ready to give up on it with.

Also the fanbois attacking people saying they are having issues is pretty impressive. Say anything about the game not working for you and 3 people jump on you, crazy.

There has been numerous posts in support forums and general aswell as tickets and complaints and still not a single word about it from the Dev's.

So can we please get some information on what your planning on doing about it and what is causing these issues with YOUR GAME if you even know whats wrong at all...

And for the trolls, I used to build computers and work for a computer hardware company in both sales and builds so I am not saying I know everything but I know enough to know there is something wrong with the star wars client.

All drivers are updated reports of issues have been with all sorts of GPU and cards from both ATI and Nvidia. There also reporting no problems with any other games EXCEPT SWTOR.

So please cut the crap and give us some answers, I just subscribed to 6 months of this game don't make me and others cancel due to lack of communication and terrible custormer service.

Sorry for the rant and wall of text but we need answers so we can get the game working as intended for all to enjoy without these issues. I really enjoy the game and would like to continue to enjoy it.

Thanks for listening. o7 o/

-----EDIT---- Adding some info that may help people.
I have NONE of these issues. Game NEVER crashes, never drop sbelow 50 FPS (thats in BG's and with many people on the screen at once) and I did NOT spend $4000 for my comp (spent around $2750, and thats really for 1 gaming computer with extra parts laying around)

So I have to wonder what it is that you guys are running hardware wise and how its configured software wise thats causing the issues, as again aside from the lighting graphic corruption I have NO issues at all. (I usually play 6-8 horus at a time on the weekends without a single CTD, let alone blue screen)

Almost forgot, System specs:

AMD Phenom 2 965 x4 BE 8GB DDR3 -2000, Gforce GTX580 (3gb ram) OS on 1 SSD 120GB and game client on Raid 0 2TB 7000 RPM (250-280 MB r/w / sec)

Looks like I break the rule of nvidia issues with Phenom 2's

I wish people would read the OP, but basically, i'm glad you're not having issues, I have a computer somewhat similar to yours, and it's unplayable for me. and yes, even in it, it leaks memory, except it's not noticeable, I'm having to play on an old pc I have, which doesnt bug as bad, but then the memory leak becomes noticeable.

Just because you're not having a problem doesn't mean it doesnt exist. but again, I'm glad you're not having it, it's incredibly frustrating.
