Oh lets see:

*I leap/storm/charge/gallop to an opponent in huttball to fall through the ramp/floor/catwalk/map.
*How FIB/Deathfield does less damage then Focus/Rage. Considering warriors/knights are melee based classes they out-force damage a consular/inquisitor.
*How horribly unbalanced tanks are. Seeing as a hybrid PT/Vang is pretty much a 3rd DPS with full tanking ability.
*Resolve going down faster after being full then not full.
*Polarity Shift being uninteruptable but able to hard stun through it as it is the sorc/sages only real way to get a full burst heal off under pressure even though the added alactrity is utter ****.
*Bioware's default stats in gear methods for PV(X) gear.
*Being killed while halfway through my Sorc/Sage bubbles (without breaking it.)
*Ranked Enhancement vendor. **** you.
*10-29 PVP. I hate how at level 11 you get placed into Arenas with 3-4x 29s and your entire team is under 15.
*Open world incentives..oh wait. There are none.
*Carnage/Combat spec for Mara/Sent.
*No lockout for quitters.
I play TOFN -- TRE -- Bastion -- Shadowlands
Griz/Gio/Tony/Krealic and other variations

This is not a viable excuse either in my book.
Well it's not really about leveling as fast as possible, it was about enjoying leveling just through pvp.

So yes, I do agree with you and I do admit I borked all my toons doing it this way. I guess my vent/point was the fact we're having this pve conversation in the pvp forums and it being the 'best way' to get ready for....pvp.

All but two of my toons (at least 7 of them) were 50's a year ago before RoTHC, before the universal planetary comms, grinding bags/BM/WH/EWH ripping out mods (at 7k apiece x3) for each piece x4 tiers of gear (min/maxing) etc and so on.

Pre 50, every 5 levels just getting an armoring and hilt on each piece was roughly 10k each x 8. Now add mods and enhancements. Also keep in mind the old bolster rewarded you for having on level gear and the lower your gear was to your level the worse it hurt. I remember seeing some 9k teammates every now and again because of this. So yeah it's much easier now with the universal comms that I don't have 54 useless Nar Shadda coms on a level 42 toon..kinda thing.

Also, not to get into too much ancient history, those toons are spread over 5 servers from 'looking for population' when a lot of the servers were dead (before the mergers), so I don't really have a 'main' to pump money into alts like that.

Meh anyway it really isn't that important anyway. Like I say, I can easlily take a week off from pvp to just grind the dalies and should have enough to aug one toon. I get it, it's cool.

What's wrong with them? They are completely fine.

Last night I pugged into a Novare Coast in the 10-29 bracket with my lvl 19 Shadow. The team was terrible and uncoordinated but did, surprisingly, pick up two nodes.

Unfortunately, because everyone then figured REST ON OUR LAURELS, TIME FOR LEET DAMAGE, we kept losing one. (Amazingly, we didn't lose the one that someone left unguarded, because the other team didn't even bother with it.)

Anyway, at one point, we held West, were not going to be getting South (because I was the only one bothering to stop the four people inside the bunker capping while everyone else fought down the hill), and had just lost East. I stealthed over there, and saw there was another stealther, a lvl 24 Operative. Since I didn't have Mind Trap yet, I let him sleep dart the one guard and figured I'd stun or Force Life if he broke. Guard doesn't use his CC breaker, we start to cap, we're almost there . . . and another Shadow runs up unstealthed and launches his opening Project at the sleeping node guard.

We lost the game shortly thereafter because we never re-took a second node.

Yeah that would be a problem if this wasn't a team game. not saying it even takes a group to beat an assassin, just a simple assist pushback and root. Chances are, the assassin is going after the healer first and you should be doing this anyway. If the assassin is leaving the healer alone, they also are likely doing an exercise in futility when the healers starts healing their target.

So you don't augment oboran? Currently all pvp mods are in the regular orange armor and in conqueror shells are PvE mods 66,69,72... and removing the mods isn't free too....
I don;t want to augment the conqueror for this very reason that i will have to turn in the shell to get oboran, and i don't want to augment the orange shells until i finally find armor set that suits my estheticall taste
I have an alt that crafts mk-9 kits and if only thermal regulators where cheaper..... would have augmentend my 1 oboran relic
good to know that there are people that "knows" that the most important part of PvP/PvE in SWTOR is Gear

LOL, so your "aesthetics" are more important than impacting other players? You do understand most armor sets have an orange equiv that can be colored to look exactly the way you want it? You are probably the only person that thinks the PvP gear looks good.

Yet another shining example of why we need HP and valor checks.

I generally i don't like that WZ are GvG (Gear vs Gear) so that the player and his skills and knowledge are on 2nd place for whats the most important in WZ. In my understanding of PvP the player and his skills and knowledge are on 1st place for whats the most important the rest only affects your play style but not your chances to win Like in Starcraft II World Championship Series. There you will not hear talks about gear or stuff that you can buy or obtain by wins but knowledge, skills, tactics, strategy ... there you see that this an truly PvP ... Probably we have such true PvP when two teams of fully geared are fighting against each other... other situations are just GvG

I think many people would agree with you, but reality is you need gear to compete. It is not likely to change anytime soon. Once you do get the gear you will be able to compete with just skill vs skill, until then you are purposely handicapping yourself.
