by your definition a person carrying his team would be doing it based on his skill. thus the best player in swtor should be able to put his team on his back and completely carry him. if this best player has the best game of his life he should be able to win in spite of his teammates. so lets give him the worst teammates possible. by that i mean ones that insta die. so by your definition, the best player in swtor in the best solo match of his life should be be able to 1v4 the other team because he is that good and his individual skill is so great that the opposition wouldnt be able to counter it.

this player doesnt exist. BUT if he did, he STILL wouldnt be able to 1v4 the enemy team. sorry. unless they were equally as bad as his team, in which case the teams besides this best player are equal, which is how you define 4s.

so stop. youre wrong. 4s take more skill than carrying a team in solos, becasue skill in solos isnt enough to get your team the win. luck is the bigger factor, specifically luck of who gets placed on your team and the enemy team

edit: also "cc timing" isnt a circumstance, its skill.

Bads are not entirely defined by how quickly they meet their demise, but also knowledge of their class (or lack thereof) and awareness in warzones. So stop. You're wrong. /thread GG, I'm bringin' it over for a hug.

the mark of someone who is wrong is that he or she chooses to ignore the larger argument of someone's post and rather fixates on some non-important/nuanced detail or phrase. not gonna argue with someone so obviously entrenched in what he thinks that he wont even consider new data or viewpoints. gg, you win, but not really

I took apart the specific portion of your statement that was critical to its point. Everything else in your post was completely irrelevant. You basically just did what you're accusing me of doing. Amusing. Try harder.

I think carnage is the most op spec in the game (people just don't run it for some reason) and needs some adjustments/nerfs. But I guess since nobody runs it, it wouldn't really affect anyone's day of swtor anyways.
Annihilation on the other hand... Idk, I haven't messed around with it too much but when I did I felt like my damage didn't exist. It could probably stay the same and ... idk, we'll have to see what the new fotm is to compare it after smash maras get the nerf bat. Probably PT's.

Don't try to reason with him. He has troll glasses and will look right through your silly mathematics witchcraft... lol

Seriously tho, this^. This polite assassin guy has got to be the most ignorant person i have ever attempted to converse with on a forum. You should all do yourself a favor and ignore his posts.

I agree. Its funny to see people complain about smash when its actually carnage thats the deadliest. As I mentioned before though, from what I've gathered lurking the forums people hate the unpredictability of the rotation due to the many procs. Shame too, because people think rage spec is bad in groups - carnage is even scarier with all the burst and never ending roots.

One thing I will say about annihilation is that it is the most gear dependent of the 3 specs. I never ran it during gear up periods until I was min maxed, simply because the damage would be too low. Not sure what you're gear setup is, but power and crit are optimal for watchman.

That's true but no other spec will let you "smash" 3 people at once and kill them with high crit. Big numbers are scary not to mention that from all DPS speces there are this one is the easiest to play. Period.
I would say my AP Powertech is more effective in dealing damage to multiple people but I am channeling my big AoE damage skill while all Smasher have to do is press combat focus, force leap into a group and smash them. Simples.
