and don't give me that crap "Oh well SWTOR hasn't done anything right since beta" There have been many great things added to the game. Clearly more bad then good but he doesn't praise or even give credit to them for the most part. In the rare cases he does he will mumble something then lead into an ad for Audible
I criticize the hell out of this game and it has nothing to do with being "Cool" , it has to do with pointing out ridiculous blatant bad decisions so maybe they will change them and not make more of them. He does praise the game and as the game gets better im willing to bet he will praise it more, he and other shows on GBtv do the same thing to the other games they do shows on, I understand that because this is something you probably love you focus on the criticism but from my point of view most of it is deserved.

At the end of the day.. they are an opinion channel. Some people agree with their opinions, some do not. It's not like they are dictating the direction of game and it's continued development or anything.
But ill bet they bring more people to this game and contribute more to getting bad decisions reversed or never made than all of the people who blindly praise and defend bioware on this forum combined.

Not at all. At best.. they attract players who have already dismissed the game.. just like 3rd party MMO gaming forum sites do. These opiners are by no means a marketing channel to bring players TO the game. They are armchair opiners for armchair opiners.

This forum right here.. does more to influence change to the game by the devs then any other internet presence. Yet by the comments of some here.. they never listen and never do anything players ask.

I do think this forum does influence more change, the people who defend biowares decisions no matter how bad do not. If anything they delay and prevent it.

And I don't care if they are bringing new players or returning players, they still bringing in more players than the people I mentioned.

Pragmatic haters. That's quite a puzzler.

It's interesting to note a couple things:

#1: I've yet to see anyone who defends Bioware in all things. At best, there are people who only post to disagree with people who complain about certain topics, but that isn't the same as universal support or "defending no matter how bad".

#2: Your definition of "bad" decisions doesn't match my definition of "bad" decisions. In fact, it seems rather common to find quite a bit of spread on what people think "bad" decisions are. It goes so far that what some people think are "bad" decisions, others think are "great" decisions. And the vast majority of those people are deciding based entirely on their own opinions, not some brain-slug-like adherence to what Bioware chooses.

Really? Then why didn't he bash Final Fantasy when that was launched with out any PVP at all?

Simple because the game just came out and everyone is going nuts over the new hotness. As time goes on I will bet anything that he will turn to bashing FF as the new shiny begins to dull.

Doing a 20 minute rant about the Gamoran Axe is not critizing a bad decision, which btw the axe is awesome. Its hyperbole to attract more viewers its the same thing these so called political shows do.

He does this with every game. Praises it during beta to attract people who are interested in the game to watch and then after release bashes it to get those viewers who aren't happy.

Its a smart decision and remember he is running a business

Making an episode titled "F U Bioware" is only there to get viewers and guess what ? It worked, thats the most highly viewed episode.

problem is he is running out of things to bash. Bioware has made a lot of really good decisions which is why he is left making rants out of really stupid things like his 15 min rant about calling one of the arenas "Space Garage"
