You can still experience the various classes. There are eight classes in this game each with a unique class story. Allowing AC swapping does not eliminate this aspect of experiencing various classes. What it does remove the need for is to repeat the exact same content just to gain access to the other AC.

Of course it doesn't. But allowing the AC change into the game, will ultimately allow the the Class change into the game. Hence, the slippery slope.

If people want this into game, there needs to be a steep price for it. Again, I'm not against it, but do not allow such a inconsequential monetary value.

Fascinating isn't it? And we'll still be here.

Not quite. Changing class could not be easily done because of the class' integration into the story. Same for faction and gender change. Your slippery slope argument is as invalid as any other. If you don't like it simply because you don't like it, just be honest enough to come out and say so. No shame in that.

More assumptions.

There is no reason to draw a link between allowing an AC change to allowing a class change.

There are no assumptions in Bran's statement. They are based off the quotes from the devs. In fact I think the reason for not allowing Faction swapping is in the very same quote that has been put up on this thread so many times before, there was one regarding the gender swap but can't find it at the moment.

We have had serious talks recently about offering an Advanced Class change option – I think that one will likely happen eventually. Species is likely as well. Doing a faction switch is considerably more difficult for us, though, due to the various quest flags set throughout the level up process, so this isn’t on the horizon anytime soon.
The flagging system throws up significant hurdles for Gender swap, Faction swap and Class swap because of the need to trace back on decisions made in the characters story and interaction with companions. Because the ACs share the same story and companions there would be no issues. The only real hurdle to overcome would be whether you have a system to store how far you've progressed in the abilities of the two different ACs in case you wanted to swap back.

No. So does it make sense to add a feature that makes it more enjoyable and doesn't negatively affect other's gameplay experience? Yes.
Except that allowing class changes WILL negatively impact even those who do not choose to change their class. We have already explained this. The fact that those arguing for class changes want to dismiss those reasons makes them no less valid.

The assumption being, " If you don't like it simply because you don't like it, just be honest enough to come out and say so. No shame in that."

When in fact I'm perfectly okay with it as I've mentioned a few times. But I'm sure he appreciates you having his back.

No it doesn't. You refuse to explain HOW, you just whine. Roll NEED for your loot and stop spewing hyperbole. My AC has no impact on you. NONE! Play your game, let me play mine.
