It might start happening more often now that some folks from the old version of SWTOR are returning to the game...they may be resistant to the changes, like many were back in the early days after release.

Yup... according to "lore", Han Solo didn't shoot first. Darth Vader screamed Noooooo when he tossed the emperor over the railing. Ewoks have eyelids. Ewoks perform with orchestral skill when playing music. Darth Vaders/Anakins force ghost is now the whiny little teenager anakin instead of the redeemed Vader (and still yoda and obi-wan are old).

About lightsaber colors - there is a point in one of the Imperial stories where a certain Jedi master is mentioned to have taken the lightsaber of a Sith Lord he has defeated and adopted it as his own, red blade and all - to symbolize a weapon can be used for peace and justice despite its origins.

Furthermore, lightsaber colors are purely symbolic. A jedi could wield a red lightsaber to remind himself of the price of aggression. A sith assassin could wield a blue lightsaber and brown Jedi robes in order to confuse enemy troops.

Black core lightsabers are just silly, but we all knew they were going to happen since every five year old wants to be so special and EA loves money.

About crystal colors once again ... Siths got red because they didn't have access to caves of Ilum with crystals. So they made synthethic red crystals. And it become tradition by the time, but there is nothing to keep Sith from using another color. On other hand, Jedi can use synthehic red too, but why whould they ... they has real crystals.

So part of the lore was that somehow clothing that looked like that of an Imperial Officer somehow jump off of people from the Republic if they tried to use it? I'm... not sure I ever read that....

That you don't like all of the Lore?

Hey part of the Lore is also that Pandabear or whatever her name after hearing about how Anakin slaughtered and entire village of sand people including children was somehow shocked that Anakin would go and kill Jedi children.

She wasn't that bright, or was just a massive racist/speciest.
