What good are the tokens for? I have about 200 and havnt found anything worth buying except a couple ship parts that dont seem to be craftable...

That's what I'm spending them on. It's more of a joke thing to me though because yea, it's terrible.

I do the space missions daily--love them!--but it's true that they aren't perfect. Nothing ever is, at least to everyone's differing opinions. My thoughts:

1) More would be better. Maybe 1 every level would be "too many," but unlocking them more often, either through leveling or playing the missions themselves, would be good.

2) More craftable ship gear/ship drops from missions/cosmetic mods for your ship would be good (battle damage, extra cargo pods, paint jobs, etc; just for appearance's sake)

3) What good is doing a barrel roll?

Okay, for anyone who says these things are hard... I really don't know what to tell you other than to go play Starfox on the SNES because these things are CAKE. Like seriously my complaint is that these things need HARD AND NIGHTMARE modes because you can complete all the space missions to level 25 without a single upgrade and if you really want a cakewalk level 1 equipment for your ship makes it a click fest with no fear. You know what, I shouldn't say that, I understand there are some people who play MMO's who probably don't have experience with other genres of gaming... but really Space Missions are pretty easy.

But seriously why complain about free dailies that give pretty decent XP?

They totaly give another feeling in the game ..something like "rebel assault" back in 95 , they simply are awsome and a very smart move from bioware.. Its something that you wont get ganged while doing it nor you get nervous that someone may ninja your loot or anything...I simply love them..Also i like the grafics of them...
May the Force be with you . . .

Theyre ok, but i wish it was done more like the old style games x-wing and tie fighter - that would eb truly awesome (and extremeley easy to turn multiplayer too)

I just hate the whole feeling like your not in control thing - although i gotta say if control of your ship was truly out of your control, and you just had a gun i personally feel it would be better, the whole rails thing kinda irks me.

Yeah, they are too easy. Nightmare mode would be awesome + a button to enter lightspeed earlier if you have completed your tasks would be great too. I tend to finish most missions 1 minute too early or so :/ Currently lvl 37 though, so maybe they get harder later on.

Owning a star ship makes you feel like you own a piece of the game. And the space battles so far, even though they may be simple, definetly add a nice flavor that is refreshing.
Fellow MUDder here, glad to see some of us still exist
This is indeed a great change of pace, and while it's not up to the standards of the rest of the game, it is as of now a side quest type of thing.
I am sure it'll come long in the future.

One of the great things about STO was the space AND ground combat, too bad they ruined the game with no endgame content and micro transactions

I enjoy the space missions for what they are.

A side game/mini game.

On top of that, they are probably the best time/xp missions you can do until your late 20s.
