This is confusing for some new players, as seen here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=685074 . We just now need the patch notes to be incremented by 0.1 again. The Game Update 2.4 Patch Notes were in the launcher, but they were displaying the 2.3.3 at the top of them. The launcher is now displaying the notes correctly. I had to re-download the game by disabling Bitraider and it now is still (apparently) on the Hutt Cartel. It doesn't seem to detect an update. Any suggestions? This is very much not related, as the notes and the actual patch date are separate. Seems like you've done some troubleshooting, and file manipulation can cause issues. I'd highly recommend running a Repair, and if that doesn't work, I'd recommend posting in a relevant CS forum thread or creating one of your own, as they'll be able to help.
