I agree that the community was much more interactive and helpful in the beginning, but man, everyone was so stinkin' pumped in the beginning. Throw up an invite for a heroic or flashpoint and you more than likely got way more requests than room in the party. Loads of random gen chat and I don't recall it ever getting bad or degenerating beyond aimless banter. Now there's mostly silence. People go about their own business and that's that. I have seen tons of unanswered requests for grouping.

It sometimes depends on the luck of the draw when you log in. Earlier today, people were being very helpful and actually telling off people that were being jerks.
