Yes but still a substantial download 20 gigs. Would be the best route if your on a bandwidth allowance.

Considering the massive complexity of a game like this, plus all the hardware and servers required, you should be amazed that you can hit "play" and something happens at all

I believe 12 GB are on the disk and my game folder says that it holds 23 GB. That would halve the download time, yes.

While I would like a few free days to make up for what I've lost, what I would really like is for Bioware to own up to their mistake rather than ignore it and take steps to make sure it never happens again. That would go a long way to making amends with me.

People still here complaining?

If you were affected go create a support ticket or contact game support directly. Others have mentioned they have received free game time.

Do you scream across town on your corner to complain to the mayor? No ... no you don't. You have proper lines of communication.

Only a small percentage of you were affected by the patch issue yesterday. Those of us who work for a living didn't. I can only assume that is a lot of us or this world is truly going to hell if that many bums sit at home all day long on a week day.

I wish this was trolling but I know this is really how you view the world.

If you need helping tying your noose let me know.

PR isn't about giving costumers what they deserve it's about giving them what they think deserve.

I did contact them and they basically told me to that I was the only one having this issue, not true, deal with it and take my grievances to the forums. All I was asking for was a couple days of my subscription extended because that's the time I will lose and the person on the phone refused to budge and implied that I was lying to scam free game time.

Two it's everyone who played during a two hour window, logged off, and played again so it's not just a few us but even it was just a single player that shouldn't excuse them from ignoring us which they are.

Three I do work for a living and granted this would not have occurred on my normal work schedule as yesterday was my off day but I don't see what that has to do with anything.

He is 100% right so ... not a noose related issue.

less than .1% seems to have been affected.

If it is SO intolerable, quit. I can't tell you how many of these posters claim the "last straw", but are still here. Put your money where you mouth is and quit.
It's amazing how loud a dollar can be.
