It's exactly the same. If you know where your abilities are on-screen, you can click them very easily.

In fact, you only look at your bars as much as keybinders look to check cooldown timers.

It isn't magic, and keybinders are not somehow superior (even though they think they are).

Do I use keybinds? Yes.
Does that make me superior? I don't have the narcissistic illusions that most of you have.

It's like the backpedal thread. "OH NOES U SUK U CANNOT BAKPEDAL NOOB I KEEEL YOU" is a really shortsighted and arrogant view to take.
I cant see someone who clicks being able to use their abilities as effectively as someone who keybinds.

As someone who used to click during beta I laugh at the fact that I used to think that was a fine way to play.

Does keybinds make you better? No, but it is a major step in the right direction.

Can I type sentences and leave a space after each one acting like they're a paragraph?

Yes.

Is it wise and seem pointless?

Absolutely.

Am I doing this to spite you?

Not really.

Can a clicker be effective in PvP?

I don't see why they cannot.

If a clicker decides he wants to take the next step and use keybinds will it make him a better player?

Absolutely.

Why am I still responding to a thread that has absolutely no impact on my own personal experience in this game and other MMO's?

I am incredibly bored at work.

I think I'm going to get some coffee.

doesn't matter if clickers or keybinders are inferior or superior. Its irrelevant.
Clicking by itself ,is inferior for the simple reason that you need to keyboard turn and other minor inconveniences. If a player is both equally good with clicking and using keybinds, there is no doubt he will play better with keybinds, and not by clicking.

I suggest everyone click in WZ's. So I can kill all of you with no challenge.

This thread just gave me an idea wonderfully stellar in its awesome excellence of amazing perfection:

Kill two birds with one stone - force premade players to click!
What we must fight for is to safeguard the existence of the Sith race and the Sith people, the glory of our children and the purity of our blood, the freedom and independence of the Empire, so that we may fulfill the mission allotted us by the Force itself. Everything must be examined from this point of view and used or rejected according to its utility.

Keybinds deactivated while in a queue'd group?

Genius. Now they'd all stack turret classes. Just what we need, more coordinated snipers to simultaneously smash-bush us for 10k each ._.

Ok so, I have a naga mouse (has numbers 1-12 on the side of it) because of this I have keybinds 1-12, shift 1-12, ctrl+1-12, alt+1-12 (although tbh I don't use ALL of them). Anyway I use WASD for movement, and mouse for camera, and of course mouse for abilities. I have a friend who use to click his hotbars and use arrow keys for movement, and I can tell you, it is so much more inefficient.

In a PVP situation you want to use your abilities when they are avaliable and not have to think about where they are/when you can use them. If you're a half decent PVP'er you can keep a rough estimate in your head of when your CD's come off, then it's just a case of hitting the key that they're bound to.

Really, my recommendation if you want to be picky about this subject, is get a razer naga, and use keybinds. Your reaction time/reflexes will be much better and you will be able to get more out of PVP

I'm a full on clicking, back pedalling beast, I always outdamage other snipers, even those who keybind, I win one on ones against them and my utility is fine. I'm a casual player though, not a sad-act. So that's probably why.

To all those saying, "I'm an awesome player who clicks to kick everyone's ***, I'm ELITE!!!."

Here's a simple comparison. Assume you have lightning fast reflexes that outdo all us measly mouse turners and you get 2 million damage every warzone. You can click us all to kingdom come.

What happens when Keybind-you faces Mouse-click-you? yeah, keybind you wins. Simple as that.

Now come back to reality. You're NOT the God of reflexes. You're not the best player in the world.

Do you see why people want keybind-you on their team, and not clicker-you?

Why hello there brother! Great to meat you. Contrary to what EzioMessi said, I am the best player in the world. I have never been killed in a warzone on in PvE. I heal to full whatever happens. And I outdamage everyone while outhealing everyone. No, I won't present any proof. Who are you to ask the best player in the world for proof? Oh, and I don't keyboard turn. I touchscreen turn! And touchscreen cast. I have the spirit of Steve Jobs inside me. If you want proof, see above.
