i tried key binding fully etc b4 and found my performance was far worse and i gave it time to learn it but didnt enjoy my pvp as much. and im pritty sure the many i have killed in their tracks also used key bindings, does that make them seriously bad? lol nope, its like op said its about what someone is comfortable with and u dont pay their sub.
Doing the most damage does not mean you are the best player. Not by a mile.

Keybinds vs Clicking?

Answer:

Keybinds > Clicking

End.

I believe this screenshot should be framed somewhere:

What we must fight for is to safeguard the existence of the Sith race and the Sith people, the glory of our children and the purity of our blood, the freedom and independence of the Empire, so that we may fulfill the mission allotted us by the Force itself. Everything must be examined from this point of view and used or rejected according to its utility.

Did i say just damage? i also said rarely out performed.

I focus objectives, i try to keep their dps of my healers, if i purely did damage i cud a serious load more onto my damage but i focus the game, the team, etc.

I am not saying im the best, far from it, but im rarely out performed and im a clicker. by the rssponses given this means all those many many key binding peeps ive killed along way, stopped from doing objectives, stopped from healing etc are really bad players.

Which is best, half the skill i have now by doing key bindings completely or stick to what i enjoy and do a million times better.

This is a false dichotomy. The question is not whether you may or may not perform better without or without keyboards compared to other players who may or may not used keybinds. There are too many factors which go into making a good player to attribute it to one thing, anymore than the spec of your PC. The point is: *all other things being equal* keybinds are undeniably a faster and more efficient way to PvP. So in your case I'd say: if you're happy with clicking, fine. If you're still better than most keybinders, fine. But *you* as a keybinder would be better than *you* as a clicker, once you get used to it. If you don't want to change, fine. But to say that keybinding wouldn't make *you* a better mover and more efficient player is foolish; all things being equal, a keybinder trumps a clicker every day of the week.

Trying to convince a clicker that clicking is for bad is like trying to convince pro-creationist that he is wrong. No matter what smart arguments you will pull out from your sleeve, there will be always a prime-argument 'but I'm not that bad'.

31 pages about why clicking isn't bad should be an explanation to the "why there is so many muppets in wzs".

even though i agree beeing a clicker in games with GCD like swtor is not a 10th as devastating as in other games without it.

Keybinds don't make a bad player good, but they will make any player better.

Most the people who think keybinding made them good are probably great at 1v1, but that doesn't make them good players either.

The biggest argument for keybinding is it frees up your mouse to focus on turning. And so many of these 110% efficiency sheep have gone so far as to limit themselves to 180 degrees of movement for the sake of never losing movement speed, which they will argue doesn't limit their playing.

The end result is they completely obliterate noobs that keyturn, and they are on par with their fellow efficiency freaks in only moving in one general direction.

So the conclusions here are:
- noobs keyturn+mouseclick
- pros keybind + mouseturn
- the majority of hardcore efficiency sheep force themselves to be pro, and can be exploited on that weakness, though they will argue that anything you do is countered by turn strafe (based on their assumption that everyone unlike them is a keyturning noob)

Forums are such good cheap entertainment.

Keybinds let you react quicker and get more abilities off faster. /thread.

Well if you don't have down syndrome, which is like 90% of the people who PvP in SWTOR.

You can get away with clicking in PVE because PVE is so stupid easy and requires zero skill. Just know the fight and you'll win every time.
