The other thing that you can also try is going into Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced (Tab) > Performance Settings > Visual Effects (tab) > Adjust for best performance

This is if Windows itself is doing a number on you in the background.

Warzones will be the heaviest areas for FPS , does turning nameplates off have an effect at all, this is something I have seen popup occasionally.
Turning off nameplates did nothing.

My CPUs are all running at 40-43 celsius in heavy warzone traffic. ANd my GPU is anywhere from 50-60 celsius in warzone traffic.

Here is a link for Windows 8 as well - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/w...pc-performance

Edit - temps seem fine

I have Bloom Off and bumped Grass Quality and Tree Quality down to 50 as well.

Did you take note of the GPU use percentages as well?

I have done the same.

And yes, my GPU very rarely hits the base clock speed of 967mhz. Never goes anywhere near the 1050 boost clock speed.

Just turned off all Windows 8 visual effects, testing if that helps now.

EDIT: seemed to help a tad in warzones. Im at least maintaining 20-33 fps in warzones and not dropping into the teens

Hmm.. not the clock speed, the GPU usage %. (A program like MSI Afterburner is able to track this). The strange thing for me is that in the Makeb areas that I mentioned, the GPU usage isn't even maxed out.

No luck with those nvidia control panel settings either I guess?

Try the following:

Anti-aliasing Transparency to Off
Ambient Occlusion to Off

ensure Multi-Display is to Single Monitor Performance
ensure PhysX is set to your GFX Card. In the PhysX tab your monitor should be showing up as connected to your graphics card as well.

have MSI now. 46% on my ship heading into a warzone now to see what it gets to.

I have all those set already.

My card just chills at about 50-55% power in heavy warzone traffic.

GPU usage is the 3rd one. You'd want to monitor power if for example you are crashing at high load and you monitor goes to "no signal detected".
