Keybinds vs clicking

I probably have the most backwards, illogical, and broken Keybind ever, but it only uses the left side of the KB, and is backed up by two years of muscle memory. It takes a few hours of play to drill in small changes, and even then sometimes I'll pop shields before a heal accidentally.

I want to know from the orb weaver users: was switching difficult to do?

I'm sorry but anyone who thinks clicking is as efficient as keybinding shouldn't be taken seriously, EVER. Argue all you want, you're still handicapping yourself BIG TIME and will get destroyed.

1.5 sec CD? No, and.. There are plenty of ability's that are on seperate CD, you're not going to click them as fast as a keybinder would. You're not just at a dis-advantage, you're at a HUGE one.. One you'll NEVER be able to comprehend if you're a clicker period. Keep gimping yourself, arguing on the forums will never make up for it.

... It's funny that when I clicked I never got destroyed..

Just because YOU (and likely a majority of players) aren't very good at it does not mean it is not viable.

Forcing your views on someone is.. immature, as are the comments you made.

L2tolerate opposing views.

For the guy above you:

Orbeaver was the easiest switch I ever made. I just transposed a keyboard layout onto the Orbweaver in the Synapse control panel and voila.

It's great because your thumb does more than hit the spacebar now, and movement is similar to a PS3 (with the mouse being the right analog stick).

Guess that depends on what you consider viable. If viable is for you that you can beat the bad keybinders, than there you go, have fun. If viable means to be capable to beat the best in the game, then you have no change and are just dreaming.

Since when has this become a dictatorship. I don't get this thing of telling people how they have to play. Unless I am mistaken this is a game and there is nothing in this game that gives you the right to be a dictator telling someone else how to play.

I really don't care whether they are a clicker or keybinder and we have no rights to tell someone else how to play.

Thank goodness I have never been interested in pvp and from the attitude a lot of you have I never will.

BTW: I use my keybinds but am appalled at how a lot of you are acting toward people.

I have no idea what someone uses and furthermore I don't care as long as they have fun and I have no right to force my views down someone's throat because I have to be right and everyone has to listen to what I say.

Don't think that only PvP players are that way, I have seen PvE players as well laughing about others who backpeddle and cannot proper kite a mob.

Not telling people to do anything, I'm saying keybinding is better than clicking in every way shape and form and that there is absolutely no valid argument against that.

What people do with that information is up to them. If that is a discussion, I engage it. Because people that think otherwise are wrong and need their eyes opened.

Not with the ones I play with and it is still wrong and it still should not be done. This is a game not a job and no one is more important than anyone else.

And note I would kick anyone from the guild if they treated another person like this.

I few of my friends are clickers or partly clickers, I still play many things with them, but I wouldn't ask any of them to go with me play rated/ranked PvP. I don't hate them or anything like that, I do not even make jokes about it, I think it makes them inferior in a real competion, and sometimes it is that fraction of a second that can make the difference. Same goes for people with massive lag or latency issues, you just don't want them around when it matters. Sure, it might not be nice, but being nice wins no matches. Look, maybe this Leeroy Jenkins, everybody knows from WoW, is personally a real cool guy, but you don't want him in a raid if he always is just there to get you wiped.
